Yes I was dreading it, he is a world traveller and he has done numerous solo trips up and down mountains but I went over and over with him which entrance to come out of Euston, to look for the premier Inn we stayed in, to follow the crowds along and to look for a building that looked like a setting from Hogwarts :D

According to my potterhead daughter, St Pancras is in a potter film, a car flies above it? We have been to kings cross to see platform 9 3/4 before. She wanted to pop over and have another look! Seriously, teenagers, she had a train to Cumbria to catch!

yes that was what I was worried about as it was just after 8 when Errant son got into Euston so he had to plough through

He has gone through to Chatham, I've had various messages from him as he went through the various stages but I don't know if he had a lift from the station or if he made his appointment on time - I don't think they would gone without him anyway, knowing the distance he has gone this morning to get to the appointment ...

Oooh, a couple more stops and he could have had a cuppa with me:).

If this job application comes off he will be looking for accommodation - a spare shed, garage or a large field would do nicely :rotfl:

Morning everyone Gym done normal day ahead.Just had a fab few days away.2 days in Devon at a wedding and 2 days doing the cotswolds. Actually stayed in travelodge in Gloucester.Really impressed, right near the quays.Must be 20yrs.since I last went to Bourton on the water. It was like being at the coast it was that busy Anyway finished up in Stratford before coming home.

thanks for this. Eldest son is on a base near Swindon so when his GF goes down they have the problem of finding hotels which is costing them a fortune but this one looks nice enough, modestly priced and easy enough for them to meet in the middle

    Good afternoon Elite :hello:

Missed the chance to do a wash load as there was very grey clouds around and of course it's now sunny and a light breeze :o nothing was urgent so it can wait until tomorrow

Hope everyone who is out shopping manages to get what they are after :D

I've had a bit of a cough the past few days and last night when I coughed I felt something twang in the back of my head into the top of my neck  I was left with a headache and still have it today :o. Someone up there has it in for me I'm sure :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

LEJC I'm sorry to hear that your posts have been removed, you too MKS, was there someone else, need to just look back me thinks. I couldn't see anything offensive in what was posted but maybe it could be petty people hitting Spam button. Why can't they grow up?

Hugs to those in need xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Nice one day offer - the magazines direct daily deal offers are on their webpage as well but I cant see it

£13.44 for a quarter and you get a £10 marks gift card a month after your payment goes out.

I did this one last month and I've had 2 issues so far both with seed packets - 2 weeks yet until my voucher appears, not sure if its an e voucher or a physical one.
I think I went via TCB as well
