Love the hamper Mamie, and they do not need to know how you got the stuff
I've made up 6 stockings this year, 4 adults and 2 grandchildren, and I would swear it has cost me £20 at the outside, lots of freebies, 02 stuff and well reduced shower gel.
Sounds like the perfect weekend mhoc, and no real disasters
We are having kangaroo for dinner, and OH refuses to dig out Australian wine to go with it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I've been pondering on the plight of homeless people ever since going to the Streetcat event last week and have continued to fret after reading what TM wrote about her experience in Leeds.
During the interview James Bowen was asked about the best way to help homeless people - was it by donating to a charity like Shelter, giving money direct etc. His reply was that it wasn't for him to say as people should make their own decision. Then he added, almost inaudibly "but something to eat is always welcome."
Do Boots still do the O2 meal deal on a Monday? It would be the easiest thing in the world to get this and pass it on to someone who needs it more.
Could you also please repost the details of the Homeless Period charity TM. A womble or two would cover the cost of something to go in a little parcel

Sounds lovely, glad you had a good day/eve:T:T:T
I like the bit no one swore at each other:rotfl::rotfl:
We have a long thin galley kitchen. 2 people can work in it at one time but it causes friction especially as one likes to clean and wash as she goes along and the other is a kitchen slob. OH objects to his equipment being snatched away from him to be washed and then I go on strike and flatly refuse to do anything - I cant eat my dinner if I know there is a bomb site waiting for me in the kitchen.
Yesterday though OH was making an effort and the kitchen was kept reasonable and peace and harmony reigned“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Just started the process of layering up 130 images in photoshop. This is make or break, the laptop is making noises  so decide to go for a walk
hopefully by the time I get back I'll know if two hrs of standing in the freezing cold has worked!
Fingers crossedSomething unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
