What space does it leave for the date, would it be after the year first?

Thank you so much :j
I put the year in first and it worked :j
I must have tried every combination except that one.

The media and sometimes general public like to build people up and then for some knock them back down again (or build up in order to mock - HG being an example where if it was about X Factor or talent she would not, I am afraid, have been on air even in the early rounds - the format is designed to have singing talent alongside those that can be mocked and humiliated.

Good morning all, really going to have to find time, to get back to reading and contributing on this thread, need to save the pennies (as well as the pounds) as had to have lots of things done to the house this year, reserves are depleted!

Not won any amazon vouchers yet, but there's still time to.

Cranberry fizzy was available last night at our T's, but no knorr naturally, maybe it's only at bigger stores?

Have lots of candles, so didn't go for a yankee candle bargain!

Have a good day one and all.

Long time no see, we must make time for a coffee x
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

I haven't been watching it perky....so I might have my facts wrong.....but if it's a singing competition( or let's be honest......is it really?:rotfl:. Or is it a promotional tool to massage the judges egos and bank balances)
If it's a singing competition....should the best singer not win? I'm assuming the rules have allowed a foreign national.

Frankly I would be embarrassed if we promoted a poor performer above someone with a better voice, simply because she was a British. It wouldn't seem fair:o

That is exactly the attitude (not a bad attitude by the way ) I am on about

We a NATION of "that wouldn't be fair "

Apart from maybe we equal America we are the "fairest " Nations IN THE WORLD

But we lack the old British Bulldog attitude that got us through the two world wars

Life isn't fair in any country or walk of life or children wouldn't die in front of our eyes (two in our local area fighting to live everyday)

And if we can not support our own out of a"duty" to do so well we are going to come to a sticky end

Like you said this show isn't just a "talent " show its their to line the pockets of the Judges

I just wish we could show loyalty to our own as I think other nations do

We cater to the minorities out of "fairness "

In Europe I watched some Spanish X factor type show although Brits applied not one got through the preliminaries

And not through lack of talent I might add

Though the Xfactor " talent show had them 2 dreadfully untalented boys at the beginning just to boost the ratings

Then kept Holly G in for the ratings too... and that wasn't "fair " to other "talent" that should have been in the show

And though in fairness it would be wrong to vote for Emily just because she is a UNITED KINGDOM ENTRANT or Matt or 5 AFTER MIDNIGHT FOR THEIR OWN

but OUT OF "FAIRNESS " we as a nation don't .:(

And sorry this doesn't make us a "better " nation or better people

My point is most other countries in the WORLD would VOTE ONLY for their own Nationality

And out of fairness we get walked all over as a Nation

Running for the hills again :D
