I exchanged my two dresses for a throw.....no problem.
Good morning.
Does anyone have a link to this please.
I ended up doing four yankee orders yesterday thanks to sunflowerif only there had been free delivery :rotfl:

Morning paw sniffers:D
Just made my second Christmas cake and it's in the oven. I know E and Elaine won't be happy but I just couldn't relax with the first one I made.:)
It'll be relegated to everyday cutting into cake:o:)

I've never seen such an ostentatious display of affluence. The marble floor alone was mind blowing and there were acres of it.....the Christmas decorations were unbelievable, so very very exclusive. I was gobsmacked and wondered how there could be such wealth with people sleeping homeless only yards away.:o
It makes no sense:o
Most areas are a contrast - JL and W are not known for their low prices as they are targeting a certain demographic.
We have visited and were very impressed with the design.

Good morning all, really going to have to find time, to get back to reading and contributing on this thread, need to save the pennies (as well as the pounds) as had to have lots of things done to the house this year, reserves are depleted!
Not won any amazon vouchers yet, but there's still time to.
Cranberry fizzy was available last night at our T's, but no knorr naturally, maybe it's only at bigger stores?
Have lots of candles, so didn't go for a yankee candle bargain!
Have a good day one and all.The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
Good morning hope everyone is well
I agree with you Emerald and DaveMorton that Saara has a really good voice and gives 110%
And in the beginning the public weren't voting for her but a bit of Mrs Sharon publicity ...on feel sorry for her she knows no one vote vote etc etc and she has the British public behind her
Does anyone else think that if this was Emily the little scotch girl in Finland that the Finnish would take their vote away from a Finnish contestant and take Emily THROUGH TO WIN THE X FACTOR of Finland
Sometimes I despair of this countries lack of support for their own .
My son lived in Europe for 10 years but I didn't see a mixture of RACES in their police force or their government and I would bet my last 10p that a Brit would never win a Finnish or Spanish X FACTOR

They must have done their research.
Friends have it and love it, say it is well worth getting.
PS Just seen that the 2 posts I quoted are both yours TM. Am slightly amused that you are thinking of buying one of the products in the affluent display.
I know:o
And it makes me feel uncomfortable.
I feel blessed to have the life I have, I take nothing for granted and cherish those I love but I can't alter the way the world is.....on my own. Like thousands of others, I volunteer and donate but it's never enough is it?:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

Have taken the following straight from 10 ways FB page. I've saved the photo you need to scan with the Blippar app. I've loaded the app on 4 devices and won once tonight on DH's iPad, you can enter once a day. I believe you should be going into a Maccy D's and scanning instore but this photo worked perfectly for me, although a bit grainy
You just literally need to download the Blippar app on your device, open it and hold it over the picture I've just posted. You need to confirm you are over 16 and then it will come up you either haven't won this time or you have. Good Luck
"Use blippar (app) on this image and potentially win a £10 Amazon Voucher. It's an in-store McDonalds promotion but works with a photo as well so can be done remotely (ideal for those of us who are too lazy to go in-store). You will need a phone/tablet (with the app) + a screen to view the image. Thanks to Anon"

I wasn't doubting JL's strategy. My remark "it makes no sense" wasn't aimed at their choice of location. Leeds is a fabulous thriving city awash with young professionals. There's plenty money there....JL WILL have done their research and I'm sure the demographics are in their favour.
What I was getting at was more about the society we are living in......extreme wealth yet just around the corner, people sleeping in the streets and how it sticks in your throat:o.........and how it can make you feel bad for just having a pair of comfortable shoes to walk in, never mind a Sonos Sound System:oTo do is to be.
