Good morning all, bit of a ground frost round this way.

The outside thermometer is at head height and didn't get below 0.7!

We had the same - low of 0.2 degrees but the thickest frost I've seen all week! I had to smash the pond and water trough at the allotment

It isn't really support for their own talent that is the issue (wherever someone comes from - and I am not sure how you would define it anyway as people live and work here, and are welcomed, from across the globe :)). The media and sometimes general public like to build people up and then for some knock them back down again (or build up in order to mock - HG being an example where if it was about X Factor or talent she would not, I am afraid, have been on air even in the early rounds - the format is designed to have singing talent alongside those that can be mocked and humiliated. When it then went to public vote the public and judges kept in those without singing talent for the mocking/entertainment value.

Good morning hope everyone is well

I agree with you Emerald and DaveMorton that Saara has a really good voice and gives 110%

And in the beginning the public weren't voting for her but a bit of Mrs Sharon publicity ...on feel sorry for her she knows no one vote vote etc etc and she has the British public behind her

Does anyone else think that if this was Emily the little scotch girl in Finland that the Finnish would take their vote away from a Finnish contestant and take Emily THROUGH TO WIN THE X FACTOR of Finland

Sometimes I despair of this countries lack of support for their own .

My son lived in Europe for 10 years but I didn't see a mixture of RACES in their police force or their government and I would bet my last 10p that a Brit would never win a Finnish or Spanish X FACTOR

    Running for cover now
Emily has a weak voice, don't know why she's getting through every week!
    Saara can sing anything.

    Good morning all

Nice to read the sentiment of how lucky we are

I have claimed almost all of my cashbacks this morning as I don't want money sitting in accounts and they become like Sloppyties

Getting a list of task for DH for next he does not work in the winter

Going to a 70th party later today at a Spanish restaurant he is now very comfortable so have settled on a nice malt whisky but it does not feel enough

    Enjoy your day
