    Hi Bubbs and gang
having a terrible day, the lovely sofa I ordered from Tesco came, the men were very moany and couldnt get it through the door.
I told them to take it round the back through the french doors and then I saw them rip the underside when unwrapping it just so they didnt have to.....I said "oh thats ok, it won't show..he grumbled and took it round, didnt even unpack the other part and left.
As soon as he was gone I noticed the corner had been scraped on the outside wall...rang Tesco who were v sorry and gave me £49 compo ..My son unwrapped the other one and it was the wrong hand.....
Tesco don't want to do anything to help as its no longer stocked :(

Just popping in to give a wave and a hug to those in need. Had my tea and it's almost time to get back in my box  I'm allowed half hour to sit but not been downstairs for days. Going stir crazy. No geese on bed today, been quiet.

DH will read some posts to me as the contraption they made me doesn't work for iPad to stay in line overhead, varifocals etc.

Frosty day here until lunch time. DS3 coming tomorrow bringing the dogs to see me, can't wait. New Christmas cards bought today by DH, I'm sure there's plenty left from last year but I don't need him rummaging about in the glory hole, I've got things hidden in there I don't want him to see :rotfl:

Just got mine, what flummoxed me was the description was not the same as the box :(
I bought mine in sets of 2 from Morribobs for £2.
They don't have long dates on them, mine had December 28th - so if you think you are going to have excess mince pies, buy them in sets of 2 anyway but put the extra one into the food bank trolley ASAP - they are supposed to have at least a months date on them

and what is on the box please

Hello everyone. Nightmare travel today: traffic just stopped, new machines in the car park rejected all my cards, missed train by 1 minute, delayed badly by gas leak in Durham which stopped all trains and ended up sharing a £100 taxi to Darlington with someone whose Dad was in hospital.

Do we all know about the Too Good to Go app (restaurants selling food cheap instead of binning) and the Olio app for sharing a glut of food?

So pleased I didn't travel today
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

deep filled mince pies on the box but on Q it says Mr Kipling exceedingly merry mince pies - picture looks the same fortunately.

Quite often something wont be picked up on the APG or BM machine if the description wording is not exactly the same so hence the worry - this afternoons receipts are tracking :j so end of panic and they can go into the cupboard :D
