Good evening all
So annoyed with myself - went to W's but my updated picks hadn't saved so the weetabix and fairy discounts didn't come off

Evening all!
DH has just asked for a lift home from the pub. How dare he disrupt my viewing of our Moneysaving Master!:D:rotfl:
I'm totally stuck for a 'big' present for him. I was thinking of a VR headset but I think it'll be ditched after a short while as he's really busy in the evenings, and the prices of the decent ones are :eek::eek:
So, now I'm thinking of a fancy meal somewhere, maybe a Michelin starred place or something similarly upmarket. I'd like it to be somewhere where the food is fancy but recognisable, rather than a smoosh of something and a whipped foam something else, but I have no idea where to start. I'd also like to be able to book a table and maybe pay for a set menu in advance, so I have something to give to him on the day. Like Mhoc, I'm looking for a weekend, or perhaps a Friday night. Nothing onerous there then :rotfl:0 -

That's so funny thinking about them getting dizzy.
He will go to the vets as a last resort as it traumatises him. I end up crying in the car with him and we both arrive at the vets with mascara running down our cheeks:rotfl:
You do have to be careful with ticks, they suck the blood of the animal and can make them really weak. Has he just got the one??
My cat many years ago had some in his ears. My neighbour was looking after him while we were away on holiday, he said the cat hadn't moved off the chair for a few days, when we arrived home and saw the cat, we counted about 25 tick in his ears. They were literally sucking all his blood.0 -

Another 30 years! Flip, you did well. We all love PO.... Purple Donkey will be having dreams of you in your uniform!
In Lincolnshire, there is a lot of PO that retired and go back to do similar roles....it works out that they can work without loosing great chunks of their pension! xEnterprise_1701C wrote: »Good morning all, windy but blue sky here
You need to put a 5 foot bank up around the house with floodproof gates, a bit like that chap did a couple of years back when there was the really serious flooding. Alternatively you can get residential flood barriers, but all of that does not stop it up from underneath
We are very lucky around here (touch wood). We have a river only 5 minutes walk but there are flood plains only a short distance down river so we don't get the problem, if we flooded a very large area would have to have flooded before us
The chap who did the 5 foot bank got into some trouble for what he did (ridiculous). Sadly our land is on a flood plain, but it has not actually flooded on this plain! But it is the result on my anxiety.... and mass planning which failed at the last hurdle. Never mind, there are worse things in the world xWhat time this evening? WD/M/R or blue? With or without a sauce? Side salad, dressed or undressed? A nice Crozes-Hermitage to accompany it? If so, s/r/l?
MR please, I am grateful for anything... sounds like I am for a treat, I will be there in 30 minutes xxx
