Ah, so there were some lucky people who got loads originally. Lucky them.

I've always believed in making my own luck.

Or in this case, printing the free vouchers from the online metro :p

    Afternoon all!

Is it just me who finds shopping in a different supermarket than usual incredibly stressful? Nothing was where it ought to be, I ended up wandering up and down trying to find things, then the SS tills kept saying 'please put the item in the bagging area' because one item was too light. Fortunately I knew the trick of pushing down on the scales to make the register the weight change :D The woman next to me had the same trouble but couldn't understand what I meant when I suggested it, and just kept looking around for the SA instead! Needless to say, I was out of there a lot quicker than she was :rotfl:

Lots more on the to do list today, really can't see it all getting done without meeting myself coming back! Unfortunately no chocolate oranges at all in A, let alone 50p ones. I'll just have to try and avoid eating too many of the ones I've got stashed in the present cupboard... :EasterBun

On the ones we got in the first year you couldn't pre-book online but with the more recent ones you apparently can - I haven't tried as I live very close to the cinema so tend to wander in if I'm passing and get the tickets earlier in the day.
Definitely no problem with using someone else's vouchers. We had some we couldn't use and passed them on to DH's mum, aunt and 2 cousins. No ID required, just hand over voucher and they give you a ticket :)

Thanks HG, that's good to know. I wanted to see Fantastic Beasts last night, but DH didn't fancy going out, and my parents saw it and gave it a poor review, so I'll have to find something else before the vouchers expire on Sunday.

Hi All, I am probably way off the mark here, the up&go vouchers that we have all been printing for a free product, I have read on other forums and FB sites, that up&go have been contacted about the coupon and say that only originals from the paper are to be used? As I understand they are a new company, are they going to be massively out of pocket, or are the supermarkets going to have to take the loss? What do others think?? Do you think we should carry on using them??

As far as I am aware, they are not a new company, it is the biggest selling breakfast item in Australia.

I would say the decision lies with the retailer whether or not to accept them.

Up n Go can refuse to refund them which in turn might lead the retailer to re-assess their policy on accepted MOCs

(and I say this as someone who hasn't printed any because I got plenty of originals)

    ref the chip atm vouchers.
    1. are they all dated the same? mine are dated 25th november
    2. do they need authorisation on self serve? as when i got mine. i scanned them and all. i got on the screen was ££ for each one. so i asked sa to put a value in. then when i went to pay, the coupons were on the left of the screen and i pressed ok and it took another £7.50 off
huge shame it went into a £7 negative balance and froze

just to add, there are 2 ways they suggest to cook them, ive done both. they are far better to take out of the tray supplied and cook on baking tray. (as indeed they recommend)

You did well to get plenty of originals, unfortunately I didn't have access to any as I don't use the bus regularly enough and not near the station. For those of us that only have access to the printable version (from the Metro archive), are we saying that if the supermarket chooses to accept them then that is acceptable? I have redeemed a couple but have not done many as I was concerned it would add to the official investigation if reported by Shopit:eek: :D.

They are prints not photocopies though :A.
