Welcome back Nannylala, hope you had a lovely break.
VT, how true are the Joe Browns sizes please? I've often admired their dresses in the leaflets that often drop out of the Sunday papers.
No ancient jumpers here, but I do have a pair of cowboy boots I bought on my honeymoon. It's our silver wedding anniversary next year :rotfl:
I think I might owe someone on here a big thank you, but I'm not sure who. SSM possibly
Joe browns are pretty true to size but I do find their summer cotton stuff too tight round the bust. Winter stuff is fab. Also sold in very large debenhams stores and always come with free returns.

Bit of help, please.
Just had our travel insurance renewal through.:eek: It is just the renewal, but still have to fill in a new medical bit. It is already quoting over double last year's amount.:eek:
I remember that a couple of people advised on policies with pre-existing conditions. Can anyone remember which companies they were? tia
This year I used Just Travel. Have pre existing conditions plus I wanted cruises automatically covered. Paid around £80 for a year worldwide. Think Ladyshopper used the same company.

Another Joe brown fan here, I agree with you on the summer clothes they can be a bit tight, I love the Jackets/coats and knit wear, I have to wear suits every day so having something a bit quirky makes me smile0 -

We are a service that enables the public to alert local authorities in England and Wales about rough sleepers in their area.
We are funded by the Government as part of its commitment to end rough sleeping. We aim to offer the public a means to act when they see someone sleeping rough, and provide the first step someone can take to ensure people sleeping rough are connected to the local services and support available to them.
Thanks Seren, just reading back and found your link. I have been concerned about someone sleeping under a railway bridge. I see him on my way to work. I have sent a report.0 -

I have a spaghetti tin
Found a lovely, very old , tin in cs last week, it seemed that they had priced the contents, 'press studs' and not the tin. They were happy to take £2 for the lot.
I still have my nanna's very faded button tin. A GF has asked me to leave it to her in my will??also don't go onto the Harvey Nics website and start looking at the tea and coffee section - this green elephant is almost irresistible but then you would also need to get the other 3 in the series :rotfl:

Good morning!
I should've stayed on here last night but these tin-related posts were lovely to wake up to this morning. Thank you.
My old spaghetti tin was lovingly brought back from Italy in a rucksack when I was a student -- saw it a couple of years later in JL! But after many, many years it got so faded that I replaced it. I don't have anything as old as those in the photo though, snap-ant, nor yours, pippo.
mhoc, even with my passion for tins it is quite easy to resist 20 teabags for £10.95!!! Who on earth pays that sort of money!!!
Tipping with rain here...0
