    (a) I've used Direct Travel https://www.direct-travel.co.uk for travel insurance (no medical conditions, but worth getting a quote with them)
    (b) a friend with pre-existing medical conditions swears by https://www.coverwise-co.uk - annual, multi-trip, worldwide, for £42 ... don't know how this compares to your renewal quote?

Thanks, Jelly, will take a look. Renewal quote was £300+ for annual worldwide policy for two peopke, Last year it was £145 with existing medical conditions.

  • LEJC thank you for posting about the mystery cases the other day. I'm very pleased with them.
Two cases cost me £90 and the first one was worth £70 and the second one £104. Tbh they were probably worth more than that because there were a couple of bottles I couldn't value so just called them a fiver each.
One box had two bottles of port and the other box had three bottles of sherry and a bottle of frexinet. I always buy port for Christmas so now don't need to and although I never buy sherry I do quite like it s I'm very pleased, thanks again.

If the missing Toblerone triangles story made you angry, then wait until you hear about the shrinking weight of Maltesers' pouches.
Earlier this month it was announced Toblerone was spacing out its triangles to reduce the weight of the bar.
But now it seems as though you'll also be getting less in one type of Maltesers bag.
121g to 103g and Galaxy counters have gone from 126g to 112g....:eek:

One thing is for sure....The price will not drop....

Mmmm I was just examining a small bar of Cadburys chocolate at 6 o clock this morning as you do and it was that thin it's a wonder it didn't snap lol.

Good Morning all off to Broughton near Chester this afternoon to use 2 cinema tickets before they run out :)

This year I used Just Travel. Have pre existing conditions plus I wanted cruises automatically covered. Paid around £80 for a year worldwide. Think Ladyshopper used the same company.

Not sure if it's been mentioned free Taylor's coffee bags, three types to redeem. Barcode would not scan on APP so used website to send receipt as you don't need to scan barcode
