What a moving rendition by Michael Buble, particularly with what has now transpired with his child. So poignant.

    Bit of help, please.

Just had our travel insurance renewal through.:eek: It is just the renewal, but still have to fill in a new medical bit. It is already quoting over double last year's amount.:eek:
I remember that a couple of people advised on policies with pre-existing conditions. Can anyone remember which companies they were? tia

TM I saw half price tins there today and also they were promoting the musical tin of Viennese butter biscuits - £6 I think but they tasted pretty much like Danish butter cookies, so seemed pricey to me. I think all this frugal business has made me cynical.

A few weeks back they were offering Prosecco samples - you might get lucky!

    Very true :T:A
But, what must Mum & Dad be going through, too? :( Being grown-ups doesn't make it any easier. I want to give them all a big :grouphug:

    (a) I've used Direct Travel https://www.direct-travel.co.uk for travel insurance (no medical conditions, but worth getting a quote with them)
    (b) a friend with pre-existing medical conditions swears by https://www.coverwise-co.uk - annual, multi-trip, worldwide, for £42 ... don't know how this compares to your renewal quote?

Sorry I disappeared quickly last night.....I decided to bite the bullet and try and "help" the elderly lady in the bus shelter.
OH wasn't keen on me wandering down there on my own in the dark so we decided to take the car and put together a couple of pillows some hot soup in an old flask and some bread and cheese....not much but basically all we could put our hands to quickly.
We got there and the lady was there...not much conversation with her but I think she was grateful of what we had given.
Time will tell how it progresses...but I do hope something more permanent can be sorted for her going forward.

Oh, what I nice thing for you and Oh to do, LEJC:T:T:T
