I just learnt over on SCC that you can upload your Shopmium receipts via the website, rather than the app, and when you use the website you do not have to scan the barcode on the product.....so I have just uploaded the receipts from the Taylors coffee bags for both mine and DH's accounts.

Thanks aau posted this info before but I did not understand it

Hopefully it will be good to buy first thing in the morning

I want to know why DH keeps getting these blooming Iceland offers! He just checked his emails and said oh I've got another 2 offers from Iceland. First one said he can choose between a pack of chicken nuggets or dippers (yesterday he had a free pizza email) and the other one said whatever he saves on his bonus card they will top it up by 50% up to a maximum of £50! Is anyone else getting these emails please as I'm not :rotfl:

Off to Scotland next week, West coast :D:D Fingers crossed for ideal weather - clear skies, mildish, dry, and Northern lights would be excellent. Am I asking for too much? :rotfl:

    That is stunning Westie :T:T:T
  • I tend to live in fleeces these days, but I have some jumpers that are about 35 years old, they were MADE then!!

I also have a beaded shirt that is 39 years old, bought it for a barn dance. It was extremely expensive but I think it has lasted well :D

I just don't get on with fleeces, nothing against them just not for me. Plus a fleece often needs something respectable underneath whereas my jumpers just need a vest top.
Mum still has the dress my sister got married in in 1987, come to think of it she has a few beautiful staples that are extremely old.
I don't think I have anything of great age expect for antique bits and bobs but I didn't buy them new.

Waiting to see if juju gets paid for her coffee bags before I go and buy tomorrow. I am another rare coffee drinker but have a huge selection of sachets acquired from hotel rooms. Very proud of the tea bags I got from Disney as look very posh. When you don't regularly use these things they are far nicer freshly unwrapped rather than a stale jar of opened instant coffee. Low on sugar though so must factor that in next week in starbucks.

. I do think a chaise lounge is a good description of you though. Stylish yet comfortable and laid back :)

DD1's boyfriend (the one who was in the road accident) went back to hospital for first check up. Apparently his back has not healed at all since the accident and he has been told to be very very careful :(

Enterprise, I never got back to you before but he wasn't put in plaster (even though the nurses kept saying that). He is in a sort of plastic cage that fits tightly round his hips and chest and sits over the top of his clothes. I didn't see it for quite a while as he was quite embarrassed about it.

LEJC I think you might just be an actual, real life :A

Welcome back Nannylala, hope you had a lovely break.

VT, how true are the Joe Browns sizes please? I've often admired their dresses in the leaflets that often drop out of the Sunday papers.

No ancient jumpers here, but I do have a pair of cowboy boots I bought on my honeymoon. It's our silver wedding anniversary next year :rotfl:

I think I might owe someone on here a big thank you, but I'm not sure who. SSM possibly :)

On radio 2 at lunchtime there was a bloke talking about all the various cash back sites - I heard him mention shopitize, clicksnap, tcb and then my work phone rang and I actually had to do some work :rotfl:

Oh I heard that in the car. Mike somebody - he claimed he had got £150 of freebies in his lunchhour. Lots of freebies were from magazines but he also had free cocktail from Pitcher and Piano and free Greggs breakfast. Then he went on to mention COS, CS and Sloppy Tights.

Said he loved the buzz it gave him.

So come on, who was it?? :rotfl:
