    I'm looking at flight options as it looks like we might have a few spare days after about the 14th....it also looks like DS might be in a position to join us as he will be between modules after a set of exams....he's currently deciding whether to come with us or come home to look after the cat!

    I have a growing list of things I need to get from various outlet shops and then of course theres visiting all the usual haunts as well...can you believe that we are possibly the only family that ever goes to Florida and never goes near Disney!
    We did it for a few years when everyone was a lot younger but apart from a quick trip down to Disney Springs last year we haven't seen Mickey for years.

    I'm the same, other than seeing family I usually raid Walmart, Target, Hobby Lobby and Michaels. Can't wait to go back!

    Brussel sprout curry - think that's what you call double jeopardy...

    I like the idea of jewelled rice with flecks of green and red.

    Also green and red peppers to garnish the curry, maybe?
    This made me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Waitrose have some very nice dark wooden wine box with space for 4 bottles - good solid box for £5 - if you have u&g MOC overage it might help. I am thinking that these might be good if you have a friend who like say New Zealand wine or rjoca you could put in 4 different bottles - twine mystery or sainsburys 25% off or double up wine maybe ....

    The similar very flimsy wicker version in Aldi was much dearer - about £6.99 and I think it only held 2 bottles

    Poundshop today - some very nice jute Christmas bags, a black bauble made out of Christmas words, looks very classy and it would be good as a Christmas goody bag, not too big.
    Also very cute square shortbread tins with 2 packs inside, a good top up gift - look far more expensive than they are.
    I have an obsession with tins :)

    I do love a good Publix too, but Walmart has better bakeware and ingredients :) My aunt lives two hours west of Orlando so we usually go to flea markets or Tarpon Springs to look at tourist tat :rotfl:

    Thanks Bubbs...today I really do feel as if I am turning the corner and have felt much more with it than I have for a long time.

    cant seem to get rid of the hacking cough though....the doctor said I need to keep an eye on it but he didnt see the need to repeat x rays yet...but may if it still persists
