Although in fairness what makes any food christmassy....??
We are going out for a christmas meal and one of the menu options is a christmas burger.....apparently so because it comes with a dollop of cranberry sauce on the side...whoopie!
christmas food is I guess how you present it and when and where you eat it.
Perhaps Rhos just needs to do any old vegetable curry and hey presto someone somewhere in the world will probably be eating it at christmas with a few tasty slices of plantain on the side .....
actually I've just had a thought....can you buy green banana leaves in North Wales....serving an authentic type caribbean cristmas curry on a green leaf might be interesting.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

apparently if you put the word Festive in front of anything it becomes Christmassy - hence you can have Festive washing up liquid :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I've been trying to find some sweet potato curry recipes...but google isn't playing at the moment.
What if you were to suggest something like a vegetable tagine instead of a curry....that certainly can be more chrismassy with apricots etc...
I guess the boss decided on curry as its reasonably cheap and freezes well rather than something more adventurous for the vegetariansfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

On the plus side shopprize app is now working again and sending out the validation codes so we can update - my email only came in about 2.30 this afternoon :j
Now my phone battery is dead so I still cant do the receipts
I am still having a battle with Quidco clciksnap re the receipt with three baby food items bought on Sunday, so far I have snapped and submitted 3 times. Firstly it was rejected as a duplicate receipt even though they had not paid out on the 3 items. I then tried again twice, same response. So Now I've emailed them with yet another set of photos but it can take a few days to get a response.
I might just have to take them back to store for a refund and then rebuy them again - I think today is the last day though
Or just do a refund, pity as these were all going into the food bank trolley.
Just have to go back to buying Hipp, soup and u&g from Mr !!!!!!, must less stress“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
