Just seen it needs to be a vegetable one. I love adding nuts and seeds to curries, apart from that peppers have a bit of colour to give it a Christmassy feel, probably not a good idea to use sprouts though.

Brussel sprout curry - think that's what you call double jeopardy...

I like the idea of jewelled rice with flecks of green and red.

Also green and red peppers to garnish the curry, maybe?

Serve it on christmas plates with a cracker on the side....

root vegetables maybe to make it wintery

How about doing something with the rice adding either some herb for green or experimenting with jewelled rice I think people add pomegranate seeds so there are flecks of red...

or how about just getting something like a holly mould like you would use for baking and shaping the rice on the plates before you dollop on the curry...I'm thinking more along the lines of how it's presented rather than it acually being chrismassy if that makes sense

Failing that ask the boss for her suggestion......

Thanks some good ideas love the jewelled rice will definatly experiment with that. .I have a Christmas cracker mould so will try that with the rice. My boss does not do ideas she just gives orders.

It has to be vegetable for vegetarians, they are doing Turkey dinner, I wanted to do mozerella and cranberry tarts or something similar but she has insisted on curry.
  • How about this one rhos, if nothing else it would smell of Christmas.

Thanks enterprise and seren think the green and red peppers are a good idea. Xx
  • Oooh, mozzarella and cranberry tarts sound lovely, but the vegetarian son of a friend of ours never ate dairy cheese, that said he wanted to go vegan anyway. He is back to eating meat now, he had to give in to something, he doesn't like vegetables:eek:

I know there are a few in the area so anyone thinking of going to sains ldn colney to double up on electricals don't bother. They now have an argos in there and argos are not taking part in the double up. They have a few electricals in store but not much. I did manage to get a cheap hoover for one of my lads and then doubled up on electricals again in another store to get some printer ink. x
hippychicky...Thanks!....would not have occurred to me that printer ink is electrical :o was wondering what to get with my points, so can now gets some ink. Thanks!
