A question. Thinking of moving house. Would it be okay for a) me to take my stove with me, and b) taking my cooker with me? Stove, because I love it and the type I got has drastically shot up in price since I bought it, and I could not justify the cost now, and the cooker, I bought a free standing range cooker specifically because I was intending to move soon after moving in, but didnt, but am now. Answers on the back of a postcard please.
(And then we have my light bulbs, but that is another story ;)

Pretty sure that if it is freestanding you can take it. We would not be able to take ours because it is fitted. Surely you agree on a list of fixtures and fittings anyway?

Weird, rather than FB friend requests I now keep getting random people asking to be added as contacts on my skype

Yes in Essex , lived in Ardleigh Green until I was 11 we moved away in 1980 after my db got killed on his push bike , parents could not stay there.
They did get a bridge put over the dual carriage way si youngsters walking to redden court school could cross safely though .to avoid any more accidents so something to be proud of.
Sorry to hear about your db :(
No you are much younger than me. We moved away in 1969. Don't think we were near Ardleigh Green either. We were near Abbs Cross Lane near the lovely park. Never understood why my parents moved from there

My £25 m&s gift card (for taking out an m&s credit card) arrived today - I was a bit surprised to find it has to be used by mid December and has to be used all in one go. I had assumed that it would be like their usual gift cards and not so limited.

I wonder if I could buy a £25 clothing item, return it next day and get the credit put on a normal card ?

Buy some clothing, ask for a gift receipt, take back with the gift receipt and you will get a credit voucher that you can use in the post Christmas sales and can be used in small amounts. Alternatively get some £10 dine in meals and pop in the freezer.
