Cold and dark here since about 5pm. As much as I love winter, love new snow, which we haven't got, I hate the dark nights and mornings. I wish I could hibernate and wake up in the spring to see life anew

Well, I went to Ipswich looking for my coat. It seems that stocks of clothing online aren't usually in store  bah. I'll just have to wait for new stocknow .

Anyway, I got hope, kicked off my boots and enjoyed a coffee before heading upstairs to find my cardigan. On turning quickly, I've only gone and kicked the side of my foot on the corner if the door and broken my little toe  well, come on, what more do you expect, it seems I'm accident prone apparently

Welcome home mhoc, hope you've had a good holiday :)

Oh poor you, especially in this weather. That happened to me a few years ago and i had to go to A&E in the night. Was a bit shaken. I also had to wear sandals until it healed but fortunately it was a warm time of year.

:) no it wasn't any of the regulars.

It was a new poster who only joined tonight and posted a survey link and a shortened url, both of which are not allowed. Effectively :spam:

    Phew! Thanks RF.

morning all - off out early to avoid the rush as finishing the Christmas shopping today! Well apart from 1 item which I shall use my shiny new amex card for ;) greggs app now on phone so hopefully pay them a visit, couple of old consoles to take to game for credit etc, marksies for a couple of bits all the usual suspects really but I do have a list lol final stop back to marksies if the party food is still half price to grab a few bits :) hopefully back by 1. will wrap everything next week as well having to get on and do it now as I have an op due within the month on my shoulder and they are doing more to it than first thought, so trying not to stress lol and get it all out of the way :D

Morning! (How rude! I should've said that in my first post this morning.)

My Greggs app is just showing the free hot drink. :(

A question. Thinking of moving house. Would it be okay for a) me to take my stove with me, and b) taking my cooker with me? Stove, because I love it and the type I got has drastically shot up in price since I bought it, and I could not justify the cost now, and the cooker, I bought a free standing range cooker specifically because I was intending to move soon after moving in, but didnt, but am now. Answers on the back of a postcard please.
(And then we have my light bulbs, but that is another story ;)

Found your next property for you :D

Two stories to tell you Dave.
Our very very first home had a beautiful original Victorian fireplace with original tiles. Before we decided to put it on the market we removed it and stored it safely and later installed it in our next property. We made good the hole that was left in the chimney breast and our buyer was none the wiser.

In another property we left a 2 door cream Aga worth thousands. Not long after we sold the property we saw it dismantled on their drive.:o A short time after that we saw our beautiful bathroom suite in a skip along with our hardwood parquet flooring which we worked hard to buy and fit. The moral of the story being, once you sell up it's got nothing to do with you what happens to the property. Don't look back as folk have their own taste and quite rightly do whatever they want with their home. I had to stop my very good friend and old neighbour feeding me stories about what was happening to our lovely home as it was time to move on.
They are only possessions Dave but if you value them try and take them with you :)

    Morning paw sniffers:D

Thank you for the choons zag....it's a while since you posted the Revival one which I love:) Thank you:)

Loving this point when the full day stretches ahead of you and you can mould it into anything you want.

My plans are to make the Christmas cake and maybe do some Christmas shopping:T

Plus that £10 Argos voucher is burning a hole in my pocket, simply because I know if I don't find something useful to buy with it I'll forget about it. So I may have a look online for ideas. Failing that it will be batteries:)
