    Snap, hope they can find a good solution for your dad's needs xx

    Dodging sharp thunderstorms here, left my washing out anyway, might still dry at least partially, certainly won't hurt it.
    What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

    Awaiting the rain here too Enterprise :o

    :( Dad taken into hospital late last night, same problem as before.
    They went yesterday morning by hospital transport to have the catheter removed, stayed there until he could wee normally, then hospital transport 'lost them' & they were eventually taken home at 8.30pm :eek::eek::eek: :(:(:( meanwhile the laxatives had taken effect whilst they were waiting :(:(:( & they had missed the Carers so Mum had to wash him down by herself.

    They went to bed but after midnight Dad called Mum to ring for an ambulance as he was in pain

    My older is DS is going down today - but we are going to have to have a family pow wow & sort out the future.

    So difficult for you, thinking of you x

    ♥ Bless you.

    Yes I've spoken with older DS & the solution is to employ a live in carer :) Where do we start to find one?

    :rotfl::rotfl:

    Sorry to hear your dilemma ,I have still got D/M at 93 with broken shoulder and have carers once a day.I found a live in carer for some of mums friends refs checked everything plus dementia trained and was willing to cook care clean everything for both for £700 ,although they have heaps of cash they asked if she would do 1hr three times a week so the lady left ,point is they are about if you ask around or put notices up at supermarkets may find it cheaper if you find your own rather than agency .
