Awaiting the rain here too EnterpriseDad taken into hospital late last night, same problem as before.
They went yesterday morning by hospital transport to have the catheter removed, stayed there until he could wee normally, then hospital transport 'lost them' & they were eventually taken home at 8.30pm :eek::eek::(:( meanwhile the laxatives had taken effect whilst they were waiting
:(:( & they had missed the Carers so Mum had to wash him down by herself.
They went to bed but after midnight Dad called Mum to ring for an ambulance as he was in pain
My older is DS is going down today - but we are going to have to have a family pow wow & sort out the future. Our Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...

ROCKINGHAM wrote: »Morning all bright and sunny - washing machine on so hopefully we might have some clean, dry clothes later.
Stuck at home today waiting for Tesco to pick up a laptop for a refund - it was only 7 months old. Still it will give me a chance to finish painting the box room..
TS poor OH - sounds nasty I hope he is OK. Can't believe the Doctor let him ride his bike home - you must have got a right shock seeing him walk in like that.
Have a good one! x
Thanks Rockingham he seems fine today. I couldn't believe it either the friend (doctor) finally phoned late yesterday evening to see how he was and admitted without prompting someone should have accompanied him home.
We have 2 friends who are GPs.they are totally different the other would probably have had him straight down hospital.
I still can't believe they didn't ring me to be honest, he obviously was not thinking straight. I could have taken him clean shorts and driven him home. His bike would have waited until today. I'm used to seeing him with knocks and bangs he always seems to have things fall on him while working. The shock was about him having been unconscious and no one told me.0 -
