Evening all - MIA for a couple of days as had tooth extracted - so was grateful for soups and Alpro ice cream. Mouth healing fine but as usual have a reaction to the stuff they inject in you to numb the gum.

So trying to catch up - nipped to Ts with a load of coupons used no problem but was expecting a £10 BG but nothing showing on receipt. Got 19 items so that's not the issue - it just doesn't show on the bottom of the receipt. Normally it either tells you how much you saved or in the case of the Elite how much you have been refunded.

Checked the BG page and it just says results not available yet try later :eek:. Rang CS who told me to wait 24 hours. Has this happened to anyone else.

Got my BG items in bag to return with the excuse I can buy in As a lot cheaper :rotfl:

Bit naughty of Ts as store was heaving so wonder how many of them will miss out on BG savings.:mad:

Had a lovely afternoon out with N and a surprise from mr shoes.
I ordered 4 of the JF sets when they were 2 for £10. Was expecting 4 gift boxes containing the products. When I collected the products were all loose but I accepted as can parcel up for gifts.
I was expecting 4 of each item as I had spent £20 for the 4 boxes.
Sat outside £land waiting for N and I investigated further. I have been given 8 of each product:eek: (I have since checked invoice and only invoiced for 4) So a double glitch for me and some very heavy bags to carry back to the car. Also got the curling wand which was £10 last week and 3 of the no 7 retractable blusher brushes. When points go on I think I will treat myself to the light up make up mirror. Apparently they are cheaper this time as they are bringing out a new one in Rose gold.
Collected my 02 carrot cake then N got the mother of all reductions. not sure how many items but I reckon around 80 things from the fruit and veg:eek: After chopping up her 10 bags of mushrooms on Wednesday she acquired lots of bags of grated carrot for her carrot cakes.

Gave N her little gift from Disney which she will be sharing with you later. We also hit our favourite jewellery store and I got a lush silver bracelet for my god daughters 21st, a necklace for myself (a lot cheaper than bracelet and a lovely silver book mark with a crown on top for the present box.

Need lots of cellophane, sprinkles and ribbon now to wrap the JF stuff in so please shout if you see any.

Been busy selling pumpkins from the farm today! Seems to be going quite well.

Thinking about money saving and next year I'm going to volunteer for a few races as you then get a free race after most are approximately £40 each (or more) should save quite a bit. I have probably done at least 10 races this year more if I'm honest.

Oh another change to my Frugal October as I just checked a little womble I picked up today. Nothing from APG but 50p for yoghurts coming from CoS, so my shopping total reduced to £32.81 :money: And that 50p will take me over the £20 mark after my cashback from my normal shopping comes in, which means I can withdraw from CoS :j

Seeing the posts about Sloppytize, it appears that they have closed my accounts as I can't log into them. Luckily I think I only had about 70p owing to me, as I withdrew before my hols

Thanks Bubbs - think there is an Internet issue in the area according to street life Network Rail have cut through a cable and apparently loads of people and businesses were effected.

If this is the issue Ts should at least make customers aware. :mad: Don't know if it's one for Trading Standards or Advertising Standards just hate to think Ts coining all those customers out of a BG saving.
