Afternoon all!
It turns out it's just as well I've been trying to keep my Frock on, after lasting 3 long months at a pants new job, hoping it would get better, they finally saved me the job of quitting and let me go this morning.
They said their requirements had changed and they couldn't give me the support I needed, and they wouldn't be replacing me (none of which came as a surprise). I was a bit shocked, but more annoyed that they'd let me quit my last long-term job, left me with no management or support for 3 months and then just let me go like it was no big deal  The worst thing is that I now have a 3-month job on my cv so I'm going to get advice from some recruiter friends about whether to bother even mentioning it.
I've decided to take a few days to do some of the niggling jobs I haven't had time to do around the house, then get my CV out there. At least DH earns enough to support me for a bit so I don't have to rush into the first available job. Not quite how I was expecting to end the week!! Looks like I'll be joining the Novockers and properly keeping to a tight budget until I get a new job. Doesn't even look like I'll be able to get much in the way of Jobseeker's Allowance in the meantime, so much for paying years of NI...0 -
Think you might have been lucky with your timing mhoc, glitch has been expired on HUKD with lots of people buying the right wine.
From the comments looks like they might have removed it from the meal deal. Someone said it worked for them yesterday but not today think that was on the main dine in thread not the glitch one there are comments on both.
Still takes temptation away from me.
Glad I went out this morning for mine (11.21), was going to leave it till tomorrow:eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Sorry to hear your news Arthien, not good to end the week/month, but relieved for you that no decision needs to be rushed into. x0 -

I had the standard fraud threatening email when I enquirered, so they are still using it.
Thinking back, when the W4lkers lunch promo was on last year I unintentionally ended up with additional accounts (and abandoned vouchers) as if you were not paying attention it automatically set up a new Shopit account .
So looks like I may be gone a long time, I will leave my Elite badge in the tray with my clothes and other belongings with the custody staff.

Evening Elite :jIt seems I've lost a watch today  I haven't been out, not even to the car. I find it so frustrating as I keep looking at the time. I have realised that it's a habit I've got, looking at my watch. Half the time I look I don't register what the time is
It is now 1 hair past the freckle
Off to have my tea

Aww bless, some of them can be so traumatised but settle down eventually. Overal they are so loving, responding well to people, when in a settled home. They have such loving natures ♥Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Ok, thanks.
They must have been reading  as a few mins after I posted the above I got a reply from them.

I've updated my Frugal October and NSD totals. Didn't spend anything extra on holiday, Euros covered all spending there plus returned with £66 worth which was a bonus. Staying away from home, after holiday, I didn't spend any cash at all, other than fuel which is under another budget. Parking free in London and meal paid with Tesco CC deals, with other friends picking up the balance on the bill. since getting back home, I shopped on Wednesday at Asda but after cashback it only added £2.01 to my total. Called to Asda again tonight and £6.40 bill reduced by £1.32 cashback and a further £4.12 with APG's from 2 wombles picked up on Wednesday, leaving 96p cost. Total is now £33.31 :money: and my NSD's increased to 16, though this does include the days I was away
I am going to a Vegan Fair at Ely tomorrow morning with a friend so I will no doubt be tempted to make some purchases. But helping out at a fundraising Halloween Party in a local hall for the rest of the day, so won't be spending anything there, as will take my drink with me and something to eat as they are doing hot dogs thereMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

DH loves this - might sweeten him up after my ultra !!!!!ing/moaning/frustrated day !!! (nothing at all serious just a succession of minor irritations culminating in a 15 minute abortive ohone call with an M&S bank woman with a very strange accent who refused to accept that as I transferred my M&S current account from them last year I ddi not still have an account with them. She just wouldn't accept that I no longer had any log in details so could't get through security. Why the hell did she think I would keep all the old paperwork when the account was cancelled. She finally deleted all my account details and , at that point, I hung up on her - I had to before I said something really rude.ELITE 5:2
