Afternoon all!
It turns out it's just as well I've been trying to keep my Frock on, after lasting 3 long months at a pants new job, hoping it would get better, they finally saved me the job of quitting and let me go this morning.
They said their requirements had changed and they couldn't give me the support I needed, and they wouldn't be replacing me (none of which came as a surprise). I was a bit shocked, but more annoyed that they'd let me quit my last long-term job, left me with no management or support for 3 months and then just let me go like it was no big deal  The worst thing is that I now have a 3-month job on my cv so I'm going to get advice from some recruiter friends about whether to bother even mentioning it.
I've decided to take a few days to do some of the niggling jobs I haven't had time to do around the house, then get my CV out there. At least DH earns enough to support me for a bit so I don't have to rush into the first available job. Not quite how I was expecting to end the week!! Looks like I'll be joining the Novockers and properly keeping to a tight budget until I get a new job. Doesn't even look like I'll be able to get much in the way of Jobseeker's Allowance in the meantime, so much for paying years of NI...
I think that it is fantastic, no more worrying about the cr*ppy job and the horrid people.... freedom and onto new pastures xhampydoodums wrote: »I got some from Ted Baker and others from Asos. I have the unlimited free next day delivery with Asos already (DH added it to a an order for a dress he bought me) so have placed a few orders for the Pretty Polly socks reduced to £2
I wished I had got the free delivery at the start... xvanilla_twist wrote: »Can only sort the Bi folds for you. You will need money first but sure my boys would give you a good deal.;)

Unsure how much longer you are away for but I hope the sun returns to finish off that tan you are working on:)
I need to make a purchase from Argos at the weekend for £95. I plan to make it up to £100 with batteries to get my £10 voucher off my next purchase.
I'm going to use Zeek where I can buy £100 of evouchers for £94.
Plus £1.05 on TCB for Argos purchase and 4% for Zeek purchase
Is that the best deal I can get?
Thanks:)
This worked a treat. TCB has tracked already:). My purchase, including batteries came to £99.98 so bought these too to qualify for the £10 voucher when you spend £100:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Sad in the PO yesterday......... an elderly lady posting a slimline calendar to a friend or whatever had to pay £4.95 postage (more than the price of the calendar) because of the length of the bloomin' thing.
She paid up, but it does seems a bit steep to me.essex girl in exile0 -
