Hmmm, thinking about it, I think I ought to get something booked. I always travel down on the day, but have started to get cold feet doing that, so if I am away for less than 10 nights, I go down the night before now. Dare I do another HE before I have had this one refunded :rotfl: I think not, I will leave it until I get back from this trip.

We have always gone down the night before, it just takes all of the stress out of sailing day.

Ok it's an extra night for the cattery for our 3 and usually £39 for the hotel plus dinner so maybe an extra £100 to factor in but so worth it. Dinner is always Ikea - OH is obsessed with meatballs :D
Next morning we don't usually bother with breakfast - just the usual fruit and cereal bars and coffee - taxi to the port and onboard by 12 :)

mum was supposedto fly back this afternoon but couldnt find her flight on tracker then looked and it was cancelled.
It seems the air traffic strike is back on today and has played havoc again.
Problem is as it is a small airport (Southend) there are no free seats so she has to wait until thursday and land in Luton !
She said she's lucky as it was a full flight some people are landing in Scotland!!

For anyone going to buy household stuff from T's, a couple of stores have changed to tomorrows prices already so not working out as cheap.

Harpic, comfort and Lenor mentioned so far.

All still todays prices in my local tho
