Yes, went for the Botley Park (well booked that one and the other one, but will cancel the other one now)
Getting train down, stopping off at Bourgh Market in London for a few hourse en-route, then train to Southampton, and taxi to hotel. I think I have to pay for my taxi to the port, but they do do packages on their website which include parking and transfers. I believe it includes breakfast.

I've been rattling between various websites this afternoon, I know Saturdays nights are expensive and I've only just realised its the the October half term to make matters worse
Best rates I've found so far have been £69 for premier inn parkway and £99 for our usual West Quay which I usually pay £39 a night for
in the meantime I have to book something I can cancel as an "insurance policy"
Looking at HE I have convinced myself we need Grand Harbour :rotfl:

It's been lovely here all day but now rain has stopped play  I hear a thunder storm in the distance  I've not been out, just lounging around today enjoying the weather. The rain has stopped after falling for all of 5 minutes :rotfl:

Did you all get your laundry products from Mr T? I wonder who has the most black buckets ? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Haven't managed to check back, sorry if already posted.

Tesco have an offer in store of a free bucket when you buy 4 cleaning products. There is also an offer for 25% off 4 cleaning products. The offers do stack.

I just did an estimate and it works out at about £14 for an uber from that hotel to the cruise terminal

this hotel seems to have a shuttle to the port - possibly you can pay for this separately at the hotel

Yes, I will ask about there when I get there. I did ask on FB about getting to the port, but they just sent me the local taxi number.
