Everything crossed here that your DD's paperwork gets sorted out in time TS.
Mhoc, love the idea that a year's worth of Aldi biscuits equals a night away in a hotel
Finally got my cheesy wine email today  and also got the latest cider in T. Emails for vests are also in, so will collect those tomorrow.0 -

yes, its a standard measure in our house, every £50 you can cut from the budget is a night in a hotel
you can eat non descript aldi biscuits forever and not remember one but every trip away is a big event in our calender, however humble the hotel

Bit bemused by MnS sizes now.
I've always had 14 in everything, including trousers. In fact I just started a new pair of trousers bought well over a year ago, I buy a few at a time. Also I just shed half a stone, so no issues there.
So I got a 16 gilet to allow for a jumper underneath and being as I had a second chance I got an 18, thinking of a friend.
But even over a silk shirt the 16 is really a bit too snug when zipped, whereas the 18 has room to layer it up.
So have they changed their sizing?“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

I have kept out empty bottle of champagne for this purpose... I have a few bottles... but still not stuck a candle in them!Enterprise_1701C wrote: »I am back - with 6lb 14oz of chestnuts, a little more than 3kg that would cost £21 in Tesco :eek:
That is great. I have seen two trees, one on a slip road on the A1 and another on a no stopping road in sherwood forest.... I may get into trouble!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:100 -

I bought some shoes there today. Tried on a 5 and they were slightly too narrow for the bigger foot so had to go to 5.5. I am a 5 and have a 5 I got from there a couple of years back and they are fine. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Evening Elite friends
Hope they finally get DD2's paperwork sorted TS
Another question about Airport Lounge. I'm told you cannot take food and drink onto plane from outside, can only take what you buy duty free, shops etc. So, when in airport lounge, can you take an extra bottle of soft drink from the lounge onto the plane, and mayne something to eat. Thinking :money: here
You could always get the Boots meal deal when airside.
Dont know about other airports but Manchester T1 has a water fountain when you clear security but just before shops/duty free. I take an empty water bottle and fill it there and have refilled it before boarding flight.0 -

Might be worth giving it a short while, our tree is always early and has only just started dropping, there is a massive crop on it this year, and they are big. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
