So I got a 16 gilet to allow for a jumper underneath and being as I had a second chance I got an 18, thinking of a friend.

But even over a silk shirt the 16 is really a bit too snug when zipped, whereas the 18 has room to layer it up.

So have they changed their sizing?

Over last few months I have ordered a few different tops in the sales size 14 and 16 as they were so cheap. Couple 16s have fitted perfectly as well as 14s and last time a 14 was massive on me and I had to order the 12 luckily the price had reduced further by the time I did. So not sure what is going on with their sizing. :eek:

Well there is some good news from DD1 today. :j

Her BF has been offered a job closer to home, 15 minute drive. :T So no more commutes into London.

And it's more money. :T

sizing is now so all over the place especially with tops i just tend to use my common sense, take no notice of the label - so ive got tops in all sizes -12,14, 16 and even 18
jeans are a bit more contant 14 medium or short but mostly its Marks or Sainsburys Tu - hate jeans that are too long, cut into your waistline or are too tight across the thigh.

Dont know about other airports but Manchester T1 has a water fountain when you clear security but just before shops/duty free. I take an empty water bottle and fill it there and have refilled it before boarding flight.
