Broken cable repaired . still no tv though xxHope their landscaper can see what is in front of their eyes LS
I hope so. The business owner herself hasn't actually seen it either, as she sent her wife round before to collect the money, so hopefully she'll be quite ashamed to be shown such poor quality work in front of another so called professional. I guess we'll see.0 -

Ladyshopper wrote: »Thanks TM. Definitely need to try and find a friend who is free to come over as don't really want to be on my own. Am assuming business owner will bring landscaper, so that's already 2 against 1, if she brings her wife as well (hope not as she has just had her op but she was tagged somewhere on Facebook yesterday so you never know) that would be 3 against 1.
I do feel better for having the facts though and absolutely will not be walked over.
Just a cheeky little tactic.....do you have a male friend who may agree to wear a suit and tie?:rotfl:
Do no introductions and let an assumption be made that it's a solicitor/ professional advisor etc
Tell them to stay schtum but ask them to raise their eyebrows at key moments and perhaps make notes.
If their prescence is questioned just say they are a friend:cool:To do is to be. Rousseau

Who? What? Is this in relation to something that I have missed?
Meanwhile, in other news, Roy Hodgson has resigned, but I think it's being overshadowed by other news at the moment. As, indeed, everything may well be for the next 10 years (I think this last comment is a bit dramatic though and it won't be literally at every period throughout that time.)
EDIT: I'm sorry (actually I'm not as I've nothing to apologise for!) but I'm just finding it funny - someone just now on the news "I think I should have given it a bit more thought". :rotfl: It would be funny if it wasn't so serious. However, given that's it sorted, I cannot help but find it hilarious when things happen that I was thinking would do all along, but people were saying would not and only watch at their own realisation now of the fact.0 -
