(((x))) Please don't feel guilty, it's an act of true love and ultimately the greatest kindness you were able to show Poppy.nearlysorted wrote: »Good afternoon,
Thank you so much for the kind words and reassurance last night - too many to thank individually.
My beautiful princess poppy had a fabulous morning followed by chicken selects and burgers and passed peacefully this afternoon. The vet reassured me that it was the right thing to do and that she most certainly wouldn't do it otherwise. Hopefully in time my guilt will ease. RIP my beautiful baby girl
And thank you all once again xxxxx0 -
Quite shocked to find that the £2 Daxon red rain jackets are selling on ebay for £25.00.
I have a 'spare' one and was thinking of putting it on for a tenner.
mine is still showing as pending
i ordered in the evening, maybe i missed the boat ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Pneumonia takes its time in moving on but pleased that's gone now. You have been in the wars, hugs to you xx
I've not slept much with the worry but it would have been worse if they had just flown out there  they are due to fly from Orlando at 13.40pm their time but I have a feeling that the roads are going to be packed. I'll rest happily when they land on English soil on Friday
Fingers crossed your ds arrives safely and can get to his destination without any problems. I'll be watching how the hurricane is moving. Heard on USA weather news that hurricane will possibly stay in Orlando then head South
Hugs to you cjj xx
Thanks AJ just in from work and read your reply. In my head ds is going nowhere near the hurricane so not too worried at minute. Hope your ds is soon home safely. Hugs back to you xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

so sorry for your loss,i`ve been thinking about you all day.:A
squigs posted a lovely poem when 3 dogs lost one of her dogs a few years ago.it always brings a tear to my eye but it is so true.xIf it should be....
If it should be that I grow frail and weak,
and pain should keep me from my sleep,
then you must do what must be done,
for we know this last battle can't be won.
You will be sad, I understand,
but don't let grief then stay your hand,
for this day, more than the rest,
your love and friendship must stand the test.
We've had so many happy years,
what is to come can hold no fears.
Would you want me to suffer? So,
when the time comes, please let me go.
Take me where my needs they'll tend,
only stay with me until the end,
and hold me firm and speak to me,
until my eyes no longer see.
It is a kindness that you do to me,
although my tail it's last has waved,
from pain and suffering I have been saved.
Do not grieve, it should be you,
who must decide this thing to do.
We've been so close, we two these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.
For all of you going through the heart break of losing a beloved pet. xxxx
