I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

We don't but they have never batted an eyelid when I have done it with other offers for a cheap deal. ;)

Just noticed another wine is £7.50. No idea how much the gastro meals are? I do also have coated fish but not sure if any in deal.

I've got the coated fish and poulty 20% off as well. I don't think they are in the email deal but they might be in the 3 for £10 range -

There are 2 different codes for the same type of vest.

T614600 which has lots of colours but does not work in the offer online, so possibly you picked one of these.

T614600L is the one in just three colours that does work.

There must be a slight difference between the two items or one is older stock as they both have black and white versions but the one that works in the offer is the only one with the fuchsia pink. I'm wondering if the clothes label in store might show the different item code. Another thought the "L" might stand for long...possibly the offer ones are a longer version...

did you do an online vest order this morning? I am wondering that if you have used it online then it wont let you use the £5 nightware discount in store as well?

It's annoying you can't see the prices of things like that online and that you have to take a trip to store to find out.

and quite possibly they might even be mixed up in stores on the same stand especially over a busy weekend so you might have to check them all.

This is a bit like the jeans I got in the Sainsburys Tu sale a few weeks ago - 2 pairs both marked kickflare and looking identical, one was a size 12 and one a 16, slightly different descriptions on the receipt - thankfully the one that fitted went through for £6 and the one that didn't so it was returned was the £12 one

I am going into town to pay last months CC bill in a bit so I will report back. :D

Still undecided whether to get a meal deal as it would really be frivolous. And Mr TS says we definitely need our veg box delivery this week so with the eggs that is going to be over £20 added to my running total. :o

Think I will just look at the individual prices in the meal today and whether they stock the wine...
  • With all the talk of Sparks, I see you can now get your points added on if you forget your card or womble a receipt. Not much to be gained from doing it though but thought I'd mention in case it's of use to anyone.

Just remembered I popped into Iceland earlier to see if they had any of the Andrex puppies 75p, couldn't see any Andrex of any description...

Anyway did we know 24 packs of pepsi/pepsi max are £5? :money:

I could really do with some to put away for xmas but I get too tempted to drink them if we have them in. :o

There were also 50p bags of gala apples. :)
