Quick question. Recently DD and I found a new mobile hairdresser and she has cut and coloured my hair couple times and ive been pleased. She cut my DD's hair last week and she was really pleased with it. However on Tuesday she coloured it and mt DD has very dark hair and wanted to lighten it up with some blonde. I got to hers just as hair was finished and it was obvious it wasnt right. There were 2 places on side of her head where foils hadnt been done properly and result was not good. Hairdresser suggested she get some semi permanent die and fix it herself. DD was going to pay her by bank transfer and it was £30.00
So we went to town and she got a dye and dyed the bad bits and put a bit more on the top as it was a bit stripey.
After some discussion hairdresser said she doesnt do redying and in the end halved the cost to £15.00.
She is my hairdresser and I dont want to fall out with her but should she have fixed it?0 -
 Waves to Enterprise, so happy to read you had a great holiday
♥ Nearlysorted - been in your shoesDo what is right for her ♥
Can the Vet come to the house? Takes the stress out of the situation for everyone & in a loving caring home environment ♥
I have a suitcase to unpack, an Everest of ironing to dowhilst watching Ice Age 4
Thank you snap, hope you had a good one.
I have a line full of washing, and I really could do with some of those vests.
If we had known what was coming we would have arranged for the holiday at the end of the month.
In the space of the next 11 days we have to help DD clean house, sort out the garden, help her move up to Yorkshire, come back, breathe, go down south for our niece's wedding AND fit in work, and I have to find a pair of shoes
Oh, and I have to finish unpacking! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

To be honest, I would not have trusted a hair dresser who mucked up something like that to try again. If it had been a salon I would have asked for someone else to re-do it.
Also, I would not have paid a penny.
It depends how valuable she is to you, but I tend not to trust someone that makes such a basic mistake, and I am amazed she did not turn round and say that she would not charge as you are obviously a regular customer.
Totally different I know, but if we cannot fix a problem we do not charge. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Firstly before I start, please let me know if I upset anyone and I'll delete my post.
My dear, dear sweet baby 11 year old lab princess poppy is due to be put to sleep tomorrow:( to say I am devastated is in understatement. She has severe arthritis in her back leg. The vet has said that she is in pain (they actually said its one of the worst cases they have seen) but she has been on tramadol, metacam and ibuprofen. I just want outside opinions on whether I am doing "the right thing". While all these pain killers are helping her to some extent, she seems to be permanently sedated.
Sorry to ramble I am just so upset, I have never had to make a decision like this before and it just hurts so much. What if I make the wrong decision?
to humanely PTS a much loved animal is a very brave and selfless thing to do and if you truly love Poppy unconditionally as she does you let her go and end her suffering xxx thinking of you and your family xxxWe are many we are one xxx
So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -
