    Yes, sort of.

I argued with them that it was not clear and explicit, and the fact that they had printed the terms and conditions and had to highlight the small print with a highlighter pen evidenced this.

I also suggested that OH was a customer, so we got 2 x £5. With the £10 gift card I am more happy x

I thought I might join in frugal October but is eating out excluded because it's Dd birthday so we're out tonight, Chinese at their house on Tuesday night and then out again next Friday. If they could be excluded I'll join in.
Now I'm thinking about it I might have failed already as we passed a ff today so popped in and stocked up on milk although I see that's now crept up to £1.60 for two, still a saving on the supermarket milk. We then went to !!!!!! because dh wanted a dab radio for work, so I couldn't let him spend £20 when I had a £6 off £60 so we spent £40 on beer.
Maybe I could start tomorrow or maybe I should do November, what do you think?

Count whatever and exclude whatever suits you! I'm having to exclude DH's 2-3 lunches out every week as he goes with work staff who are friends and would look unsociable if he didn't. I'm just hoping to persuade him to have a bowl of chips instead of a full burger meal, you never know! :D

We also went for a hot chocolate (me) and cup of tea (him) in town today as we'd had a long mortgage meeting and needed something to keep us going. And I didn't shop in advance and I don't plan on driving round different shops to save money as that's just using up fuel. I think everyone will do what suits them. For me, it'll be mainly about planning ahead instead of leaving it til I get home and feeling too knackered to cook, and using up some of the random toot that's in my kitchen cupboards and freezer!

ETA: if anyone knows if subway are still doing their coupon booklet things, that would help as he's currently paying full price once a week. I know there's an app too, but he doesn't currently have a smartphone as he lost it on holiday.
