    Afternoon All,

Just popping in to mention that the same thing happened to me a few months ago when trying to switch an account to HSBC. They took ages with everything and my incentive was never paid.

Any dealings I had with them were always a pain. I applied for their credit card this week, got a message online to ring them, spent an hour on the phone passed from person to person and was then told to go into my local branch with my Santander bank statements as that is my main bank.

I've given up on them and got a new card with Lloyds, approved all online within a day.

Will be switching from HSBC to Nationwide FlexDirect to try and get the £200 recommend a friend for me and Sad_Mum.

    Cheers,
    Sad_Dad

Complain - as mentioned before, I did and received the incentive despite the account not being up :D.

I will apply again when my credit reference reports have updated following the mobile co messing up.

I thought they had sorted it until all my other vouchers disappeared yesterday.

I still have a couple to activate on household devices.

I entered a code yesterday and it unlocked an offer expiring 1/10. I thought it would have given longer than that

So I am now ready for frugal October...

I admit that I have done a basics shop this morning spending £15 but that is more to do with needing to replace the entire contents of the fridge freezer,,,so I have really started with milk, bread, cheese, eggs, some reduced meat items, veg and a a few treats.....

managed the squidgy soreen bites in A as well as 2 more presidents and am now wondering if I can get away with sending the bottle of wine to DS's halls address.....not that it means I would ever see it....he would no doubt class it as a gift.

Getting into mode it's stir fry for tea tonight instead of the usual takeaway .....so onward to October!

Good luck with this, that is some going:D
    Happy birthday poppy :D
