DD's just had a matching pair for her new kitchen and very lovely they are too. Tall enough to stand up in them if you take the shelves out.

But she swapped the locations, so now the freezer is where the f/f was, but with its opening on the other side. All very fine except my old habits die hard, so when I made a cup of tea, I wondered why I couldn't get the fridge to open... I'd automatically gone to the hinged side of the freezer... :o

ours are the 7 foot versions as well and the subject of much admiration by anyone passing by :)
the fridge is 3 degrees so things last forever in it and it is so massive everything has its own shelf - chocolate in particular :)

the freezer actually has less room now than the previous one - so much insulation now the space inside is smaller

It's tempting...and after last weeks boxes I got refunded on....but frugal October beckons!

that's going to be the worst bit really....not spending on Twine cases.

The BT open reach chap came yesterday at 8 in the morning  - fortunately I was up, dressed and ready for him. We had a crackle on our landline and reported it to Sky on Monday afternoon, amazed to get such a quick appointment.
So the chap came, tested everything and said the crackle was still there so he replaced a grey cable outside but that didn't solve it. He went to the exchange box and tested everything there and then came back and said it was underground but there were no spare capacities ??? So he was arranging for someone to come and fix it either today or tomorrow
He must have got an appointment today as this morning we had no phone line at all and no internet. Phone line came back about lunch time but OH had to reset the internet when he rolled home.
which is why I am still playing catch up at 4 in the afternoon :)

We switched to fibre earlier in the year and we got the dazzling speeds of about 12mb but this week it was down to about 7.5 MB. The chap said we should see significant improvements now.
instead the speed check I did earlier was down to 6.5 which is below our contractual minimum

not sure what to do now, dreading having to ring sky yet again ...

Trout in Morribobs today pulled over a manager asking whether they should accept my NCG £1 vouchers when the soups are already on offer, giving me free soup. Her maths was spot on, but her subtlety was dreadful!

    Anyway, manager said yes...
