  • I went to collect my Tosco's order in a random city today.. when I saw the shops waiting to be collected I burst out laughing.... all (except one) was small orders of coke/quality streets/nappies.... lol.

I've had another text off Argos saying they are giving me a £5 gesture of goodwill. I made three orders hoping one slips through and I've had two Ts ts so I'm still hopeful for the third :rotfl:

Thanks HG, I think I will give it tomorrow and start the ball rolling by at least reporting it lost to the police, I see there is an online thing I can fill in to report it. And if it has been found they will let me know. Don't think I will order a new one just yet though give it a little longer in hope. :o

I do have my licence no written down somewhere safe. :)

Forgot to say I got my chocs ok this morning, code was taken off ok. :T

No real need to apply for quite a while Tiny, unless you still need it for ID. You can use your passport for that purpose for now. As long as it's reported lost to the police you will be ok.

You have my sympathies TS. I lost my paper licence a couple of years ago - it was with my passport, which was lost/stolen in Dublin. Never got either of them back :( So I too am now on the renewal treadmill.

Off out to collect my chocs shortly :)

And another one with missing passport and licence , sorry this happened to you too. I actualy wanted to go back to the station to check the bins but the police in Amsterdam said that they would gave already been emptied.

We had to go to the British Consulate the following morning for copies of relevant passport page just incase they were needed for the cruise. Luckily dh had cash for Norway so I was able to share his. The rest if the cruise was fine and when we got home I put in claims through insurance for replacements as I had police case number.

Since this happened I have got a photo of our passport page with photo showing and take it with us on holiday. You just never know what or who is around the corner.
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

I excelled myself this morning dgd breakfast made beans and sausages , went to put my porridge in microwave and couldn't find it

Though I thought I had already put milk and porridge in a bowl , so I put porridge and milk in another bowl and popped it in the microwave

And with that I suddenly realised where my porridge was .....

    Yes you guessed it

Under dgd beans and sausages ...I quickly retrieved them and made her fresh

But I can imagine the story she will be telling her Mam and Dad tonight

As she said to me this morning with hand gestures ...you really are going to have to stop forgetting things and start listening when people are talking to you Grandma .

    I got my chocs today:T:T

The guide price on my order when I checked this morning said £8 but sure enough they were £5:)
The CC man asked if I'd seen it on HDUK. He said that he and all his workmates put in orders too:)

Called in store to get my free milk with the hipp vouchers:)

I wonder if there's enough stock to last until the promotion ends....do we think they are phasing out this size?

Anyway I will be using mine sooner rather than later I think:)
