    Hiya Elites :D

It appears that Morrisons are no longer accepting these soup coupons (at least mine aren't - 3 local stores). Something to do with multiple copies or something. The till assistant didn't make much sense and self-service tills now "need assistance". Been an issue since Saturday apparently.

    Anyone else had similar problems?

If anyone is going for these...I remember them from last time...I couldn't find them with all the chocolates and stumbled across them some time later in the world food aisle...as they are american...but not stocked in all stores

hope that helps someone locating them

My good news today is Mum & Dad have been out in the Berlingo together (plus friend for support) for the first time :T

They went to Midhurst antique market & it makes my heart swell as Dad had an amazingly happy time. His first time out & the stall holders remembering him, buying postcards of Portland (where else?) and being himself again. Not a stroke sufferer in a wheelchair, himself.
    I'm so proud ♥

You can feel the pride emanating from your post :D So happy for you xx

Well, more or less ready, catching a train after dinner. Wish the trains started earlier but they don't so Travelodge it is, at least we wont be delayed getting there :D

I will not be coming on here while I am on holiday, plenty to do, so whilst I will be hanging on here for a while now, I will not see you all for a couple of weeks, so behave yourselves :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Everyone else that is going, make sure you have a wonderful time :D

She's really good at ticket enquiries...hopefully her knowledge stretches to amenities onboard too.

    afternoon all

just back from Ssinsbobs where the 25% off Tu clothing has just started. I didn't hold out much hope of finding anything interesting - such dark dreary colours, unlined pinafores, cardigans with no buttons :(
but I did spot kick flare jeans, something that always needs replacing and these were on the sale rails :j even better my size :D
Then oh says look at the leg bottoms - and they were the nasty frayed version :( - well I suppose if you are an expert seamstress you could turn them up but then they might be too short

so I went through the entire rail and I found another version of kick flare with proper hemmed bottoms in sizes 12r and 16r but obviously no 14r  but I thought I would take both and try on at home for size anyway. both pairs looked identical and both with half price stickers on them

but when I went through the till one pair was £12 - ie not sale only the usual 25% off and one was £6 :T - half price sale plus another 25% off. on the receipt there is a slight wording difference but for all purposes they are the same jeans

I've tried them on and they are the stretchy sort so the 12r won't go over one leg even but surprisingly the 16r fit fine on the leg length and thigh breath, a bit waist baggy but but will be OK with a belt. inevitably the 12r will
be going back and I am hoping that these are the £12 pair

I've got another sainsbobs to look at tomorrow to see if this strange pricing is a common thing, otherwise if you see kick flares you want with half price stickers which go through for full price with only the 25% off it might be worth having a discussion with CS
or if you can sew it might be worth looking at the frayed bottom version

oh says you should do - if you are on twitter it might be worth double checking with the twitter team or otherwise the train conductor if you manage to find him/her in the morning

1st class to Edinburgh - very posh - are you in a posh hotel or one of the Travelodges :D

Virgin trains have the very worst stinky loos so take some hand gel in your bag as you will need it

I don't envy you getting across Euston in the morning - the worst sort of hell ever, I just put my head down and barge through muttering pretty please excuse me every 10 seconds :rotfl:

Afternoon, i havent had time for a proper catch up, i will do later.

I was wondering do little waits do the same offers as normal stores ?

i.e £5 spend for coffee and paper?
I saw one at kings cross station yesterday and will be going there again tomorrow so if the offer is there i may take advantage.

good question - our Waitrose is classed as a little waitrose and we get our free coffee by waving the cards at the CS girl so its worth a try
