    Good morning all...

Rattling round the house on my own today....I've some sorting out of washing and stuff that I want to do,then it's a case of just going through each room and giving it a good tidy and possibly a little de cluttering.
I sort of want to keep myself busy today but not tire myself out.

Just been in shower and found myself wondering whether your DS cleaned his teeth yet... :rotfl:

Have a nice day LEJC. x

whenever any of mine have been home on a visit I find it easier to collect anything they have left behind and return it to their bedrooms so its not hanging around the house and reminding me.
First off I clear any back log of washing and get the stray socks and t shirts back upstairs and then I can shut the bedroom doors for now.
It can take me weeks but then eventually I am ready to go into the bedrooms again but for now the doors stay shut :D

There are a few clothes around but mostly its clearing and throwing away exam debris...there is a 3 foot high pile of exam papers which is currently tower like in the dining room, testament to the past!
It needs to go but I have filled this weeks green paper recycling box so will have another full one for about the next 4 weeks or so...the papers are not needed anymore but I just think there was a reluctance to get rid of the last 2 years work....

The cat has taken up residence in the bedroom and claimed it as her's so at least for the next couple of days thats where she will live so no chance yet of being able to get in there and hoover....she seems to be only moving to take care of the essentials otherwise shes curled on the bed sleeping!

text received on Saturday night to say thanks for the money....so he's either cleaned his teeth or just rooted around the washbag!

I did again think of you on Saturday....he has a very forlorn notice board in his room!

Hillbern....my goodness what a journey, lets hope you never have a repeat of that
Sue ....I hope you are able to sort something out for your mum...as others have said dont overlook your needs, and dont feel obliged to take on great chunks of care...your job is to enjoy visits to your mum and for her to be able to enjoy your company....its not for you to be rushing round doing chores.
I learnt that lesson quite late on in the process with my mum and if I am totally honest the point where we allowed ourselves to just enjoy being with eachother was the best and sadly final year of her life.

so whos off to BellaI tonight...our table is booked for 6.30.
I keep standing at her bedroom door and cannot believe my eyes. She has taken all her her bedroom furniture aswell. We said last night how strange it is to see the bedroom completely empty apart from the travel cot and vertbaudet baby clothes in the corner:rotfl:

Today I am finally going to do my bird of prey and owl flying experience. Dh bought it for me last January for my birthday but with being ill and the stipulation of you can't do it at the weekend, or school holidays it's been impossible to get it booked.......until today :j

I feel for all the elite parents who are missing their children who have gone off to uni, I know I am so lucky to have Dd a few minutes down the road and lucky me I get to pick her up and take her to work too :rotfl:
Her boss came in this morning and I said oh I won't be a minute we are just ordering some curtains I'm sure he thinks I'm a bit f a nutter :rotfl:

    Morning all

Thoroughly exhausted after working all weekend. How I hate September!! :p Not a break in either shift. Yesterday didn't even get chance for a drink. It's a good job I still enjoy the actual work :)

I have GOT to sort out the Roald Dahl costumes for the children today as back on nights tomorrow but otherwise I'm planning to rest my achey legs :)

When did Quidco have a revamp?

I've got the clicksnappy page on the desktop on the ipad and the offers now comes up as one long string down the left hand side rather than as a grid across the page.
I probably need to download some sort of app or use a mobile linky...

and the bright orange is very glaring.

so I went back to the desktop which is still in a grid.

It now says how many redemptions are left for each item - I've still got free SoBe and pepporami snacks on mine so at least there is a reason to go to Mr !!!!!!

I'm usually a very strong person , I've always had to be but I'm not feeling very strong at the moment and I am finding each day a struggle to get through . I know I am lucky I have a family but losing my nan has made a massive hole in my life, my days revolved around being with nan and now my days are empty, nan was my nan my mum and my friend and I miss her so much it hurts :(
