    Morning all :)

Big thunderstorm from about 4am, now pouring rain and a derailed train just up the road following a landslide
So much for keeping a low profile in A - slipped on a dropped ice lolly yesterday and had to have the first aider called :o

Hope it was no worse than hurt pride. Seriously, hope that you are ok.

    Thinking of you today.

My stash has taken a battering but at least I've got rid of a couple of those black buckets :rotfl:
All her stuff is packed up and ready to go along with half the contents of my cupboards. Dh said last night, we will have nothing left at this rate :rotfl:
So a busy weekend ahead I thought we were just dropping them off there tonight but apparently we are moving all the stuff in and I'm cheif cleaner  bubbs you could stop off on your way through if you like it's only ten minutes off the m6 :rotfl::rotfl:
Right must dash have a good day everyone.

    This is me too Di....
I've managed I think to pack stuff up and get rid of 2 buckets!
We have very little left in the cupboards and most of my cleaning stash with the exception of WUL is just a little depleated

This afternoon its packing the car ans we are off first thing in the morning....although we may do a detour to a harvester for some breakfast en route....

Thinking of your daughter today its a big step moving out and they have such exciting times ahead planning their new home for their little family x

I'm sad,I'm happy,I'm nervous,excited...worried out of my mind ...but I know that its the right thing to be doing so ultimately it makes it all right.

.....and once this weekend is over I have the bella Pasta meal to look forward to with OH on Monday!

good morning all...enjoy what might be left of the good weather today and over the weekend....and for all those on their holidays over the next week or so..enjoy

...and dear Millie dog....sweet dreams RIP X

    RIP Millie x

Sue, that's shocking not letting you in to settle your mum. Policy change needed there for sure. x

LEJC, good luck to you all this weekend. Meant to say when DD first went into halls, the worst bit for her was seeing the state of the large notice board in her room. All tatty and full of holes from previous pins, and of course we had nothing to cover it with. Very depressing. When I got home I sent her a huge parcel of cartridge paper in assorted colours to cover it and all sorts of decals to brighten it up. x

BTW in my break yesterday I nipped into R0wlands chemist for BP check. Perfect score and check was free. x

Seren....thank you for the tip about the money off vouchers being given out at the Coop. I got a £1 off when you spend £5.

DD is making a special birthday cake so I bought 3 boxes of Cadburys fingers at £1 each and they had the Sweet Sunday's Maltesar pouches at £1 and got 2 of them.....so got them all for £4 and received another tillspit:rotfl:

Hipps are going down extremely well with YMWNALOM:)

Young Mams with not a lot of money:rotfl:

Well done. DD and I now have 4 tickets between us and I am collecting codes for her friend, which is just an excuse to eat more Minstrels really. :D

I'm convinced the weight has gone down in the Maltesers pouch - 103g instead of 120 or so. x

Seren...thats so odd....I had a similar thought when we looked round the show "pod" in halls...
I do tend to look at all things housing with a very critical eye and I just assumed that was because I am so used to check in/out inventories and rental properties...

But yes it's probably the sort of thing that costs just a couple of pounds to change each year....and can look so forlorn when worn out!...

DD's board was huge - and really dominated the room in its awfulness. But not for long - I sent her so much cartridge paper that she shared it out with others on her corridor and they all revamped them. :)
