Today I was walking down the street, as I was passing an oldish women I smiled and said "hello" (Sometimes I think you can make a persons day with just a smile or a nod or even a verbal recognition) Little did I know that it would me left with a spring in my step for the rest of the day. She smiled back and said "you look lovely." In a instant I've dismissed it because thats the way my mind works
Didn't even get to say "thanks" as we were walking in opposite directions. I've not stopped thinking about that moment today and for once i'm going to accept the compliment from a complete stranger.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
