Mum (86) had a fall on Sunday. She has compression fracture of a vertebrae in her spine. It will be along road back to any level of recovery.
Sorry, not sure why I am telling you this, as everyone has enough of their own problems, but just felt the need to ""talk".

Don't be sorry. This is the place to share. I can really sympathise as I'm sure that snap will. Hopefull, she will get there in the end but I think it may be exhausting and frustrating for you, from my previous experience. Don't keep it in, just talk on here. x

Agreed, this site was a Godsend when I needed somewhere to vent and ineed, just to talk.

    Hello everyone :)
    I've not posted for ages

In wilkinsons today lots of the gardening bits were being reduced not quite pennies yet though

Levington tomato grow bags were down to £1
I could only manage three in the trolley as car was parked in main car park a little further away .

Tried superdrug no minis and the Vaseline was £1.50

Oh Sue, I'm so sorry to read about mums fall. You must be so very worried.

Please don't be sorry telling us, we're here to listen and support, don't forget that :)

When our mums and dads suffer ill health and falls they cause us much more worry than the kids. They seem to become more precious to us the older they get. I do hope that mum can fight her way back to a decent level if recovery sooner than is expected xx

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    Pardon my manners :o

Good afternoon Elite, hope you've all had a good day, shopping and cleaning :D

So warm here but I've spent most of the day in a cool darkened room today :rotfl: :rotfl:

Enterprise, did you get hair clippers/trimmers? I did post yesterday, or maybe day before that I saw some Wahl and Remmington in B&M at £9.99 , they also had some cheaper and a few dearer. :D

When I travel with someone (long haul mainly)we put a set of clothes (read that as mainly underwear) in each other's case /bag in case either of our luggage goes astray. You guys know who I frequently travel with imagine if they had a rake through my case, women's clothes and.....huge boxers  :rotfl::rotfl:

:T Great idea - I'm currently doing a machine dye of my faded black items :D
