quinoa pig reporting from the field.....

I have applied for the BG Collective switch, thinking of doing a switch for years, spurred on this morning, thanks anon.

I'm with BG already, standard tariff, pay quarterly by cc for a few extra points, applied this morning, took 30 minutes as I put in accurate (hopefully) details.

    Potential savings............£370 per year! :money:
    Hope everything switches smoothly.
Not that keen on direct debits, as previously when with npower they had more money built up in my electric account than I did in my current account!

tbc, thanks for the encouragement anon and TM.

I have done switches with The MSE Energy thing 3 times. I was with British Gas initially then switched to Sainsburys ( run by BG! ), then changed back to BG again earlier this year on a Feb 2017 switch and changed again to BG October 2017 fix. I wont save anything this time but it means I have extended my switch for 8 months. No exit fees to be paid and cashback 3 times now!!
All goes through smoothly and I have to say BG are much better to deal with these days and if there's account they readily give it back.
I only pay 70 per month for a 3 bedroom house with gas heating, cooking and fire. But there is only me living there and I swtich off everything except Sky and fridge and freezers when I'm not there.

No more serums left there must have been some this morning as 2 SELs for 30p.

Thought maybe another Elite may have got them but don't think they would have left the 9 dove sets behind. ;)

Are they any serums that are 3 for £10 online? Therefore, buy 3 at 30p each, with fillers, and have comp. of £10 vs competitor's price for 3 if any competitor is cheap enough. If you can even find three in the same store:rotfl:. Or, if it's 2 for £4 online, maybe buy two and £4 vs elsewhere. Depends on difference to the competitor that you'd get back and if that more than covers the cost of the fillers - otherwise if there are items you were already going to get versus that competitor, then you don't need to have your serum refund paying for those but can legitimately say you would have got them anyway. Indeed may be one item fewer now needed to the eight and could potentially pay or be got for free if there is any mbuy online that is much more expensive obviously than 30p each.

    Morning peeps.

The British Gas free canvas is for all customers not just for switchers! Great for Christmas.

I am though going to look into Martin's switch offer later today as i am on standard tariff as i prefer to pay quarterly by credit card but if I can save hundreds I may take the plunge!

I think I am missing the plot here - would you mind explaining how this works for current customers ?
