I will be your housekeeper....Whats the hours and fringe benefits....:rotfl::rotfl:

I think with your cleaning talents, you could name your terms and conditions!

Good morning all, the sun has got his hat on :D

We still have loads in the freezer from last year, and are currently freezing batches of raspberries.

Can't wait for chestnut season though, should be a good one this year :D When did the shucks develop the ability to not only prickle but leave a stinging sensation

My dog eats brambles off the bush!

One of my aims this Autumn is to figure out the difference between chestnut and horse chestnut! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The difference between chestnut and horse chestnut is easy, the sweet chestnut is the one with more prickles on the shuck, and it has the ready made peel starter :D

morning all - can I pick brains lol

boys school sent a letter home last week saying they have a student with extreme allergies in school........ Packed lunches can now not contain anything that may have come into contact with or be made with peanuts. I'm struggling tbh with the amount of items they can and can't have. it seems unfair with the ever increasing list of updated not allowed lists! My daughter has a friends who is allergic to peanuts but it was never a big issue at school, everyone knew and they all got on with it! Rant over

Thanks, I just had a read. I think I will arrange to go with a neighbour who gets these... so I don't make any mistakes! x

We brought up two additional kids (well they are ours... we just shared them with their mum!) one of them has extreme allergies, and what you describe had to be implemented in school. He needed epi-pen with him, and had to have this used regularly (he was extremely ill when one child rubbed peanut button on his head).

But since being at Uni, he has not had any incidents... :T:T:T

  • Morning folks!

Last week of freedom before heading back to Uni. Seen my timetable a bit busier than I expected but hoping that it works out less as 1:1 tutorials become the norm...... Also ditched my dissertation proposal and starting from scratch with absolutely no ideas :(
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
