:rotfl: welcome to the naughty club!

I have to say I'm pretty p*ssed off today. Out of 3 agencies one has underpaid me, one has forgotten to submit my timesheet and laughingly said 'don't worry you'll get paid next week' and the other accountant has forgotten entirely to arrange cover, therefore no one has been paid and instead sent a curt reply of 'well I'm entitled to go on holiday' I sent a reply back to say 'well I'm entitled to send you my bank charges when they are applied on Monday'. Needless to say I haven't received a reply yet :rotfl:

I'll join you on that too...

8 weeks ago I paid an £84 administration fee to a property management company to obtain a consent for something...it's now escalated to complaint level and still I have heard nothing for a week.
This morning I phoned to be told it's not been dealt with but the operator will pass a message to the manager who was not at their desk...it seems the said manager has not returned to their desk in the last 3 hours or at least doesnt have the willingness to at least return my call....

The only thing this company has done diligently and with speedy purpose so far is cash my £84 cheque!
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

That is indeed true...although on the bright side I have managed to get rid of the estate agent who was emailing me on a daily basis concerning a purchase we are making...

His last email to me was 2 weeks ago...and I know for a fact he's not on holiday...every cloud !!!!!

I've just had an estate agent call me , before nan passed away we were looking at all options and one of those options were to sell both houses and buy a bigger one with better access for nan so we had both houses valued and she called a few weeks later and I said that nan had passed away and all plans have changed, anyway she just called to ask if I have got over nans death and did I want to sell the house now

Very dull here - need to wash the sofa loose cover, thinking of selling my ancient Laura Ashley sofa as I want something more 'upright' - I have a spare set of covers in attic if the these don't dry in time today.

Having my hair cut at noon, in salon that is doing a 'Brave The Shave' today for charity I have just read in local paper :eek::eek::eek:
_pale_ I'll take some stash for their raffle & hopefully still have my hair ;)

Oh Snap, it looks lovely now you have washed it ;)

an interesting idea - I've been wrapping presents in plain brown paper since March and they do look very elegant - eldest son ran off with my last good roll of birthday paper :D

I really like the idea of decorating my own paper and doing potato printing - I really miss doing make and do and arts and crafts when our gang were little :D

I used to use brown paper. A bit spray with silver/gold glitter spray, use that straw like stuff to tie them up and into a box, and a real holly leaf for the name tag, look great.

Thats a really tricky one to deal with ILTS....and goodness only knows how you must have held that together x

I think the whole thing concerning cold calling re house selling in the way you describe was actually barred a few years back and EA's have been warned not to use that tactic...although I guess possibly because you volunteered the information to them previously they will defend themselves by saying that they are following up on a lead you gave them....it makes me mad sometimes!
