Bought, uploaded, and confirmed in less than 5 mins :D

Reading about your exploits you make it sound like it's a load of hassle with a load of jumping through hoops :p:D:p

I really hate our little mr !!!!!!, its one of those with the car park underneath and the shop on top so firstly you have to navigate onto the car park and at every junction a car leaps out in front of you. They also have a car wash just as you go under the underground bit so that's a dozen lads frantically washing and scrubbing cars and moving cars in and out of place.

and then to actually get into the store you either have to go up in the lift or take one of those annoying moving walkways

The store itself it tiny with very little stock selection

but for lurpak and possibly strawberry flakes if it sells them (doubtful) I have to grit the teeth and get on with it - not checked OHs shopotizes yet to see if he has old moult

    deep sigh

Well I've swept farm yard, cut back the brambles & nettles, torn up the thistles & trimmed the over hanging silver birch, so now the guests tomorrow can park & walk into the garden with out being stung, prickled, flesh wounds or twisted ankles :D

Dad came down in his chair :T first time he has been in farm yard by himself since the stroke, commanding which thistles I pulled :D
So lovely to see him expand his horizons with his new chair. It has 6 wheels so does 'off road' :T

Fore cast is rain :( for tomorrow, so we have a gazebo to erect shortly.
Awaiting my niece with her gorgeous girls to arrive :D

So lovely to hear how well your dad's doing. And can imagine him there his chair, given instructions and you doing all the hard graft :p it may seem daft but we share si much on here you feel you know people and travel on the journey with them , and your dad has come a long way and now to think of him out on the farm regaining a bit of independence brings the biggest smile to my face. :A

thank you - he will have his ears burned today :D

You could get them a silver medal each to go on their keyrings at Christmas. He's on mine, as is St Michael & All Angels, and there was a trolley coin too till it refused to come out in A's...

Can't figure out my A's - you need £1 for a little trolley but nothing for a big one. So what I do now is take a big one to walk round with, and put a basket inside it. (They don't seem to like big trolleys at SS...)

  • Agree with Rhos love hearing about your Dad Snap and his determination be as independent as possible. How's your leg it must be on the mend Snap with all the chores you're doing!

Got a result from Amazon my Polti Vaporetto Steam Cleaner has just arrived - paid £7.99 :T expected it to be canx.

And where has the sun gone! No alresco lunch today. x

I tried opening the app but it has a pop up to update which won't seem to go away, so likely forcing people to move to the newer version.
