I've just finished my first year with TSB - how time flies when you are having such fun :rotfl:

My monthly saver matured overnight with a magnificent £81.34 in interest :j.

I thought it was going to be a long job sorting it all out this morning involving ringing TSB and going through security etc but it was very easy, almost instant and all done online.
My old monthly saver transferring into an easy saver overnight so I transferred the balance back to the total current account.
I then started a brand new shiny monthly saver and I did the new standing order from the current - remembering to cancel the old standing order.
so the new monthly saver with the sadly reduced rate of 2% gross instead of 5% is up and running and gets its first amount tomorrow.

the balance from the old monthly saver I might just find a one year bond for, thinking that maybe September 2017 it will pay for a big builders invoice or a holiday final payment or both - if there are one year bonds out there anywhere with more than 1% interest :(

I've seen a very nice mid week stay on Groupon this morning - just waiting for a discount code to appear now - so that will take care of the £81.34 :D
mhoc there is a 20% off local deals on myvouchercodes.co.uk that expires today:)

Good morning everyone :) Emerald hope you are feeling a bit better now and can eat :(

Know this is expired but this happened before and I'm sure it worked in store too. Someone might remember? :)

Still it's worth checking to see if it comes back in stock online.

Thanks for bringing it over. And to me for trying in store. :D

    :)

Well I've swept farm yard, cut back the brambles & nettles, torn up the thistles & trimmed the over hanging silver birch, so now the guests tomorrow can park & walk into the garden with out being stung, prickled, flesh wounds or twisted ankles :D

Dad came down in his chair :T first time he has been in farm yard by himself since the stroke, commanding which thistles I pulled :D
So lovely to see him expand his horizons with his new chair. It has 6 wheels so does 'off road' :T

Fore cast is rain :( for tomorrow, so we have a gazebo to erect shortly.
Awaiting my niece with her gorgeous girls to arrive :D

ta for this, sadly it would not work for me.

I tried a few others but sadly not working, I never have much joy with the groupon codes. There is a new customer code as well which gives £10 off - good for small value things.
