Not into a "Taxi" office no. Have never actually seen a "Taxi" office in London unless they were illegally using Taxi instead of Minicab. I don't think Hailo, Gett, Radio Taxis or ComCab allow walk ups their offices are more like call centres now.

No at all, but I asked a specific question and amended taxi office to mini cab office solely for the sake of your pedantry. Most would call a mini cab a taxi.

It was your error quoting the post mentioning mini cab and stating I had never mentioned it when clearly I had.

All drivers that are driving for the same private hire company all use the same meters/devices/apps. It wouldn't be very good if you got one driver one day and got charged X then did the same journey the next day with a different driver and got charged Y because he plucked the price out of his head.
