Nice to see some life on here again, CMD! Where has everyone vanished to?!

7!! It's Oscar's 1st birthday tomorrow (and Zach's 3rd!) and I'm still at a bit of a shock as to how it's happened so quickly - but equally I'm very excited. He's like a new human every morning these days. Very happy the baby days are pretty much behind us. He was boring as hell!

Can't believe Oscar and Zach are getting so big! Seems like only yesterday they were both born!

Hope everyone is getting on ok. Been busy trying to sort out the house at the moment. Managed to finally get my hair cut for the first time in a year in anticipation of my 30th birthday in 3 weeks time. Other than that, nothing much to report as work is getting mental again.

I did speak to Dinah on her birthday and she said writing on here is on her to do list so fingers crossed!

Oscar had a fun birthday, we went to The Deep and it only cost £5 to get in with clubcard vouchers and Oscar got to wave at the sea. Looking forward to the weather getting better so we can get back to national trust / English heritage sites for "free" days out (both memberships are up  )

Happy birthday for the future, Ruby!! My hairdresser is on maternity leave so I foresee a no-trim 2017 :rotfl:

Hi all! Hope you're all well?!

CMD, your maths must be wrong, there's no way Max is 7?!?!

Saying that, I've totally lost a year with Zach, I keep thinking he's just turning 2 but no, I have a very sassy Threenager on my hands. Seriously, he woke up on Friday a cheeky little so-and-so and hasn't let up... If I hear him say 'Wha'??' one more time I'm going to scream! a) Why the heck is he suddenly dropping his T's and b) It's not 'What' it's 'Pardon'!!!!

Had a nice but quiet birthday weekend though. The thought of big birthday parties with his mates from nursery brings me out in a cold sweat. Having to make small talk with people I don't know without booze... *shudder*
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

In my mind Max is still about 5 and Zach is only toddling into the mid-1 age range. I keep looking at Oscar thinking "You're 1. I don't know how it's happened but you're ONE" The concept of time mixed with a sprinkling of sleep deprivation (still on that train!) doesn't work well for me.

That's pretty hilarious with Zach, but give me 2 years and I'll be eating my words. I'm currently in a screaming phase, he just yells at anyone. We had a lovely nappy explosion to deal with in a car park on Sunday and he refused to stay still to get dressed so there I was, with Oscar standing on the drivers seat in just a nappy clutching the steering wheel going "AAAHBADAHAA-AAAAAAAAH" at anyone who went by. Was great.

I'm wanting to get through to Oscar being in school before I'm forced to either throw a party, or take some children who aren't mine somewhere.

Can't believe it's March tomorrow! 20 days until the start of spring! Did our end of month totals and we've now cleared 22.5% of our debt :)

How are all these 'babies' getting so big! Happy belated birthday to them all and happy birthday to Max today.

We only did one big party for Poppy when she was 4. She's more interested in just having a few friends now. Last year she did climbing and wants to do trampolining this year and we might take them for some dinner after.

Kids are so much cuter when they are small :rotfl:. Childminder said to me yesterday she feels sorry for me when Poppy is a teenager . She is a right madam but she has such a character and does make me laugh.

Things are all going good here. I have made a decision on the moving etc dilemma to stick where I am for a while. I seem to be getting by financially and we are all good and settled so seems silly to upset that.
