But you will know what to expect when you read more results. We've told you they have tried a few court cases but it's early days, none have gone to hearings that I know of as yet.

I would say someone with an Excel PCN (sister firm) is more likely to get a court claim than from VCS, as it stands.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think I messed up because I sent it as an email rather than letter, not thinking this would make a difference. Either way.. this is the response I got from them about 4 days ago.

I have also received a missed phone call from them today.

Is this normal to receive back?

    Thanks.

Email was fine, better than letters in some ways as you can be sure that it was properly sent and almost certainly received, even without a 'read receipt'. Obviously they got it.

What you suggest my next move to be. It doesn't mention anything about threatening me with court. Obviously they've already done that but at this point, Im confused what next.

They sound so damn smug about it all, not even making it a complaint because they are so powerful etc.

    Sighs.

    Just wait and see.

If a court claim arrives come back for help on constructing your defence

Thank you for the advice and to the rest of the forum members also. What should I do about the phone calls? I've had two now, one received and I just answered and put the phone down. I think the're going to keep coming.

    They will.

Don't engage with them at all, ignore the calls and cut them off (and obviously if you have a call blocker use it)

If they text or ring and get through, put the phone down and block that number.

    Thanks.

Its an unusally mild/limp wristed reply from these vultures, it would seem as if its been written by Dads Army's Sgt Wilson "would you mind awfully sending us the money, pay in instalments if you wish old chap"

The one part of the letter that does concern me is the - we put you on notice--- sentence. I woulnt pretend to know what the legal implications of this wording is.

By the tone of the letter it sounds as if they about to burst into tears.

If they ring again make a note of the date and time for possible harrassment claim, say "just a minute while i get a pen" place the handset next to the phone and smile knowing they are knocking up their phone bill:rotfl:

Main thing is good luck, dont pay and DONT PANIC
