Thanks guys. It's awful poor Jo has died. She was such a nice lady. Yorkshire born and bred and just such a lovely person. I'm so sad she is no longer with us.
She always had a smile on her face and wanted to help everyone.
Apparently she got stabbed because she was very pro EU and there were some who detested her for it. Pro EU or against EU, she had 2 young children and they will now have to live life without their lovely Mom. How awful is that?
The people of my area and community are absolutely devastated. Unlike previous MP's, she did what she said she would and we will all be at a loss without her.

Here's my suggestion (for what it's worth
):
New thread gets opened by either Savvy (as seems to be the general consensus) or me (to avoid disagreements about the OP).
First post contains only a short intro to the thread (to avoid the problems people have viewing when on the new forum version and some devices)
Second post by Savvy is the current original first post with all the info and then posts (as many as are needed) are the Savvy lists.
Thread title is probably best kept to being factual rather than the fun ones of previous incarnations so newbies can tell at a glance what the thread is about. So the Elite (something, something) and chat thread explains to all what the thread is about (as in the long running ones on Old Style.)
Just a suggestion as I said but it might save days of fretting over the who, what, why etc and just get the job done

Just a warning that I might take up at least 10 posts for the list:eek:. I'm just thinking about how it might expand in the future - or we could even have room for the cheap SP fillers prices or something like that like we used to (if I ever get round to it in the next ten years). I'm trying to cut the M list back somewhat by removing items that really have gone (or gone from so many Ms as really not to be generally available at all). The trouble(:rotfl:) is that I was going to remove items such as the RTC alcohol cans and bottles of water, as they had gone from all my stores - however I came across one of the alcohol cans this week, along with another bottle of water, and I've now come across another alcohol can earlier today:rotfl:.
So, as these were the sorts of things I would have thought would have gone, yet again it turns out they still need to stay! I might end up moving some items to a separate list, at some point somewhere else on the thread to which I'd link from the main list, being items that I can no longer find for so long that I think they've effectively gone - and people can then report if they find some of these items and I might move them back to the main list. However the problem with deleting items (or moving them away from the main list) that I don't see - or haven't seen for so long - is that I'd probably be removing items that have gone from my Ms but in the process moving items that are other people's items and still in their Ms. The trouble is I don't know what's happening in the other part of M that I don't see - or what's happening in 80% of Ms that I haven't visited.
I think I might need at least two more posts than the current list because I don't know if it will expand even more - and best to be on the safe side and have more than necessary. Otherwise, if I run out of space, perhaps that's the time to start another thread:rotfl:. I put an overflow post when I moved to this current thread - and I did already need to use it!:rotfl::rotfl::eek: I tried to avoid the 'too many characters' message and had to split the list up even more - I've now moved it to have a lot less on some of the posts, but still got the 'too many characters' message coming up once since!:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl: I will try, at some point in the future, to remove items that are clogging up/cluttering up the list, to another 'not seen items' list elsewhere - that might itself be 4 posts:rotfl: but doesn't need to be at the start of the thread - but as mentioned the trouble is I don't know exactly what to remove! (I've some idea, nonetheless, of the items I am just not seeing anywhere at all now that might have gone, although more recent ones that I thought may have largely gone are in fact still around somewhere! The trouble is some of them are moved onto M's RTC shelves in various stores and then remain there rather than on the alcohol aisles, so maybe are less likely to be bought, and there are still items on various RTC shelves, that nobody's buying, that are festive items from last Christmas - I just don't know what's there and what isn't in 500+ stores and I keep coming across new items - there are undoubtedly Christmas items I have never seen before that are still in existence in some other Ms on RTC now.)
Anyway, I have some further information from today - and again it turns out I collected at least one incorrect price yesterday:rotfl:. Bit of a difference between £3 and 75p:rotfl: - however one of my Ms yesterday, the only place I had had it this week, still showed £3 on their RTC shelf and how could I ever know that the item has apparently gone down much further in price? Another store today has only now informed me of that - and so when it gets to the list I will use the 75p price I've just found. There's also some changes on some cheese which I will mention later. Every M I go to changes what I thought before:rotfl:.
I was going to wait until a new thread (if we are having one) before I started making my changes from yesterday (and today now as well). So, if RF can open up a new thread and then I can move my list as it currently stands to there (please keep this thread open until I've moved the posts to the new thread). Anyone in agreement/disagreement or other suggestions?

Although the word "Elite" has connotations and tends perhaps to suggest a clique rather than being open to all, I've never seen it that way and it's more just a name than it being a select group. I would hope it wasn't the latter. I don't mind if the new thread (if there is to be one) has Elite in its title or not - perhaps something more general, maybe not necessarily using the initial letters anymore but still to be the Elite thread?0 -

I will be going into isolation very soon to have my stem cell harvest. I'm scared :eek: I will have no contact with my family or anyone for at least 3 weeks and maybe more. No visitors, just Skype for contact. I've avoided that thinking my 6 months of treatment would last forever. I'm having my immune system wiped out and it's scary.

What will happen to your lovely garden while you are in isolation? I seem to be constantly weeding or dead heading or cutting back etc - do you have a team of willing volunteers to keep things going?
Have you made plans how you are going to occupy yourself? I was trying to imagine what I would do, apart from missing the cats - my list would include - build up a very nice deep fake tan, grown fingers nails for the first time and learn nail art, dye my hair purple and see if I could live with it while there is no one to snigger, read an entire series of my fav author, go vegetarian and see if I could go completely meat free ... “Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
