unfortunately either I made a mistake or morrison price have updated from last night to today ( sorry Savvy I know i should know when updates are) the Vimto £4 to £7.02 and Ryvita £1 to£1.38
but got an £2.31 APG V Sainsbury on a £15.56 spend

13 items (9 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda Morrisons
    1x Ryvita Multigrain Crispbread (250G) £1.00 £1.28
2x Vimto Mixed Fruit Squash No Added Sugar (2LT) £4.00 £7.02
2x Felix Meaty Loaf Fish & Meat Selection Cat Pouches (12X100) £7.00 £5.00
1x ASDA SmartPrice Peeled Plum Tomatoes in Tomato Juice (400G) £0.30 £0.25
    1x ASDA Smartprice Bolognese Pasta Sauce (440G) £0.38 £0.38
0.44x Loose Onion (order by number of onions or select kg) (PER KG) £0.26 £0.32
    1x ASDA Smartprice Sparkling Water (2LT) £0.17 £0.18
3x ASDA SmartPrice Chopped Tomatoes in Tomato Juice (400G) £0.90 £0.75
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection 6 Firm & Juicy Salad Tomatoes (6PK) £0.65 £0.65
Comparison total (compared products only) £14.66 £15.83
    cheaper +£1.17

I wouldn't know as I don't have those items on my list - you shouldn't buy such rubbish items:p:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::cool:!

I think you may have bought items that have gone up in price in M this week. I think I saw some Vimto 2L recently in M at £2 but I think it had already gone back up this week, and you just happen to have bought items that M has put back up:(. The salad tomatoes were already picking up M's 65p in the last part of last week.

I wouldn't be surprised if the SP tomatoes tins are getting the M mbuy on the basis of a tied result between mbuy and straight full price between the APG's Ms and are only going to the mbuy as the lowest pricing found. I have so many Ms failing to display the mbuy on either of them (although at least I have one more store with the Crispy Batter Fish Fingers at £1 now:rotfl:) and have found a further M today - no mbuy displayed on the tomato tins! It may just be the Ms I've visited and what happens to me instore may not be happening across the APG stores. Hopefully, the APG has more than half its stores displaying the mbuy - it's hit and miss in my stores though with half of them showing it and half not - in fact I'm probably seeing slightly more not showing it than showing it! If the APG has half its stores showing it and half not, and going for the mbuy in the event of a tie as lowest price, it would only take one store to lose the mbuy from its SEL and the APG then start getting M full price!

The mbuy is clearly on in M and supposed to be until into July.

I think nerf managed it all on his own, it really is very very straight forward :rotfl:

I'm sure historically, savvy's lists are more often on pages 2+ than the first page so I don't know what the fuss is about (not directed at you LEJC just something that seems to have been overlooked)

edit: I would welcome a new thread by savvy btw

Correct mungui nerf needed no hand holding from me :p

ok, as Savvy and most seem to be in agreement how about this?

I will start a new thread now (with the title I suggested earlier, although this can be changed if people really disagree with it).

The second post will be a copy of the current first post.

Then as Savvy is online now and can 'claim' as many posts as he needs, I would ask that nobody but Savvy posts on it for the time being until he gets as many posts reserved as he requires.

After that it will be all systems go and the new thread will be established and ready for use.

This is going to save a lot of discussion over the issue in the next few days and will let you all get on with what you do best on this thread :)

Yes. I'll go for twelve:eek: posts - one for the current 'first post' info. and 8 for the list (surely it's not going to go more than that?) with three spare. Best to have way more than I really need:rotfl:. Should take a bit over 6 minutes if 30 seconds between each - so only a few minutes (but please keep this current thread open whilst I can then transfer the actual first post copying, and then my lists, to the new one much easier. TIA).

    Good evening to all.
been donkeys years since me and salwag passed this way.whatever has happened, good or bad , it wasnt us and we are accepting no blame whatso ever...
we are not going to open the new thread however much you all beg and plead with us, or however you all bribe certain foundland dogs with all manner of canine treats, or tell me what a computer genius I am.....
we are too busy throwing defrosted stuff in the bin from a deceased fridge freezer that secretly sloped off to the white goods valhalla in the clouds without prior notice.
also we are overjoyed by the lovely piddling down weather we are having at the moment and the aroma of wet dog, which, if we could bottle, would make us at least......10p...so we are laughing......
I know you will be jealous of us, thats why I havent been posting.....
I know its not the same without me but I hope you are managing and not missing me madly...
lastly as a final straw, the piggin internet is coming out in sympathy with the weather and is currently resting on a cloud with a damp cloth over its fevered brow...
    aint life grand???!!!
    as you were....xxx
(If this posts, its another miracle)
People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with :)

    LOVE ME, LOVE MY NEWFOUNDLAND.:A

Gift card opportunity - one to look out for.

I've been trying to post photo of SEL but Photobucket has decided it's going to back up hundreds and hundreds of photos of mine:eek::eek:
So I'll stick to writing it.

In my A today they had Herbal Essences Clearly Naked shine Conditioner 400ml RTC @ 63p (bc 4084500128835). Having checked online (£2.50 or 2-£4) I thought it might be a GC opportunity and sure enough it went through at 2 for £4. So off to CS and ended up paying the SEL price of £1.26 for 2, got £2 GC and it also compared against T at £2 each, so 40p on APG as well.:T:T.

The SA nearly gave me a refund against £2.50 each but noticed the multi buy reduction at last minute.:(
I had to ask for the GC obviously.
