  • Phew, phew and double phew is all I keep saying, well and a,little stronger too.

Last week when I went to my follow up appointment with my consultant my pathology results weren't back. I questioned as to whether that was a bad sign and I was unnerved by the over reassuring response I received. Yesterday afternoon I missed a call from the hospital and the voicemail said nothing to worry about but can you ring us back, I've heard those words before which really meant you have cancer. You have to ring an answering machine and wait for them to ring you back which they didn't do until 9.15 this morning but thankfully the good news was that everything they have tested has come back clear.
That has by far been the longest five weeks of my life and definitely the longest 18 hours!
So to say I have had an emotional morning would be an understatement but on a positive note my kitchen cupboards are extremely tidy.
It brings it all home to you though, we all have our own problems some of us chose to air them , some of us chose to keep them to ourselves can we put the last few days behind us and do what we do best, glitch and save a fortune.
I apologise to you nerfdad for what I said yesterday but I echo what others have said, please stop with the snidey remarks it isn't nice.
    Phew xx

Yes that's fine emerald. I was thinking of maybe just driving to Bache (for the free parking) and then just getting the merseysaver day ticket that costs £5 :money:
Di what time do you want us to arrive at the station for please?:)

I'm not sure what time Ellie and FC are arriving. Ellie's mum has fallen and broken her arm so she is organising care at the moment.
I have booked the restaurant for 1pm but I think you might quite like the town and may want to make a day of it

Tree trunks legs though, no good in slim fitting trousers:rotfl:

Ok, have you thought of a long skirt? Worn with a long line top can look great. I live in jeans, leggings and long skirts. Not full as I said earlier though, as I don't want to look squat :rotfl: something that fits smoothly over the hips and flairs slightly so it's not tight all the way down :)
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

So glad your results were good Di:D

Well, engineer came at 11, done and done by 11:15, so I deserted the laundry basket half way through and did the blinds. Delighted with the first one, did the small one first. Did the big one, got it up, pulled the blind down and one of the chords is wrapped around the one behind it. Nothing I did, manufacturing fault, so have emailed them. They have a freephone number but thought I was better off sending a picture.

Can't imagine it being too easy getting it back down either.

Still, if that is the worst of my problems who am I to complain.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
